“Loved the woldtop beer, nice to see local beer in pubs. Had a delicious steak pie which was so tender and fresh I couldn’t believe the price especially as it came with homemade chips, quite unusual in lots of pubs! The wife had a home made lasagne which seemed equally as nice. My only critique was the portions were huge not great when you’re a beer lover trying to watch your weight! Over all, lovely pub with great food good ale and at a really low price, next time I’m in the area I’ll be popping back in! Cheers Brian.“

“A very nice pub with a good atmosphere and high quality food. Usually has a locally brewed real ale on tap and the beers taste well kept. I’d prefer a wider variety of real ales or foreign beers to try from, but that might be asking a bit much for a village pub. Well worth popping in you are out that way.“
