“Visited many times over the years and most recently during the Spring Spoons beer fest March 2023 - found inside Victoria station itself on the first floor via stairs/escalator this place can be pretty busy depending on when you visit so service can be a little slow at those times as expected. Has the usual spoons set up in regard to food/drinks, and managed to pick up a couple of fest ticks I needed. Not a destination spoons but ok place to maybe tick a few beers while waiting for your train.“

“This is a market hall just outside Victoria Train Station At the bus station Lots of restaurant here. You will find a bar to the right when you enter They have a decent beer selection On a sunny day I recommend that you enjoy your beer at the roof terrace “

“Visited 21.10.18. Located above the WH Smith bookshop. Busy during a Thursday evening. Six cask pumps with ales from a selection of large and small breweries - all served with sparklers <3. Several of the ales were new to me. Also several taps of keg beer. They also do food.“

“Pleasant traditional Fullers pub a few minutes walk towards Vauxhall Bridge from Victoria Station. It faces into the main road, although I entered through a rear door where there's also a small garden area. A central tiled area in front of the bar can be looked down upon from an upper level. The bar serves mainly Fullers offerings in cask and keg, although guests were available on my visit in the latter form. It was very quiet in here on a Tuesday afternoon in the summer.“

“Good place to wait for the train, has a wrap around balcony with views over the departure boards and platforms so easy to keep check on train times. Not got a lot going for it ale wise by typical 'spoons standards, only 4 pumps and one of those wasn't on. But then it's not really a place to have a session so serves its purpose if you're at Victoria with time on your hands.“

“Visited 08/03/17. One of the better presented Spoons I’ve been to. Set out like a diner/bistro. Kinda funny that it’s not been named. A decent array of London breweries. Spotted a Cronx bottle after ordering. Good to see plenty of people with a pint at 08:30 am and not just sad looking old men. To quote the Irish dude who was behind me, Coffee? Let’s get beer, screw work.“

“Visited late August 2016 in the afternoon, was pretty quiet with a just a few builders having late morning fry ups. Pretty good selection across cask, and the couple I had were in pretty decent condition, staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of power points scattered around at the tables so useful destination for those travellers transitioning between train/tube/coach station, to charge up devices while supping a pint, also had the usual free JDW wifi. All in all a pretty above average spoons for selection, so worth stopping by if in the area.“

“Basic Wetherspoons with nothing unusual to stand it apart from many others in the chain. Visited on 17th Dec 2016 (Saturday evening), Beer selection and quality were both fine, as was the ’deep fat fried food’ we shared. Staff friendly enough, mixed clientele, age and group size: typical cross section of society really. Would visit again, but it’s not a destination pub for true ’beer hunters’ even if I did pick up two new rates.“

“The Jugged Hare is a rather handsome and grand Fullers pub located on Vauxhall bridge road, some 5 minutes’ walk from Victoria station. The beer selection spans 5 cask ales, a couple of kegs and a small bottled selection. Not the best Fuller pubs for range, but they do tend to have a seasonal or two. More of pub to take work colleagues than a place to scooping. Not bad overall.“

“Slightly lacking in charm, even by Spoons standards. Still, the staff are friendly enough and the beer range is decent. Sadly, most of the cask ales I tried were not in the best of condition.“

“Pretty much exactly what TheydonBois said. Visited here on my penultimate night in London as I had somehow not had a Fuller’s fix yet and knew I wouldn’t want to on my last night. Traditional pub decor, almost no one there, pretty dull, but the ales tasted fine. Go to Cask Pub and Kitchen.“

“Fuller’s house which used to be a former bank I believe, this establishment seems to be resting on its laurels. Atmosphere not the best and service was indifferent, their ale range was fairly limited as well. Ok I suppose if you are in the Victoria area, but as others have said, much better pubs nearby eg The Cask Pub and Kitchen.“

“Been here a few times, it’s much cheaper than the Spoons at Victoria station but the decor isn’t as smart. It’s quite a big place but it usually has some interesting beers on and it’s a good place to pick up a festival scoop or two. It’s a better example of a Spoons and I’ll stick my head in to have a look if passing.“

“A quaint little pub with a friendly atmosphere, a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace (not very likely that the Queen would throw stones, but still ...), and an easy walk from Victoria Station. Some new potential ticks for me there, I only had time for one, which unfortunately was served too warm. Did not eat, but they have food. Might well visit again.“

“28th March 2015. Bog standard, modern Spoons above the concourse inside the station. Really glad I read the reviews on here before I went though: the second bar area round the back (completely hidden from the front) had a lot better selection of cask beers to the front bar and I would never had ventured further inside without the knowledge. Visited on a Saturday afternoon during a beer festival.“

“Have visited a couple of times during the current Wetherspoons festival since my commute can take me through Victoria Station. Early evening it can be difficult to find a free seat. Service has been prompt and pleasant. One helpful feature worth noting is that there are screens showing the train departure times, and indicating any delays. Quite a reasonable selection outside of the Wetherspoons twice yearly festivals, sometimes including a couple of beers from newer London breweries.“

“Well. To be fair it is mostly tourists (like me) that are waiting for the train here. But you can surely get some ticks here. Especially with that festival pumps on. Well I think they do have a festival 365 days a year.“

“A very well located Spoons outpost right in the centre of Victoria Station. Great location so expect it to be fairly busy at anytime of day. Even so there seems to be less riff raff here than ay the nearby Willow Walk Spoons. This place has improved greatly since the last refurb. The now offer a choice of 10 cask ales from the 2 adjacent bar areas. This makes it quite a good option for the various beer fest Spoons have. Yes it is probably one of the most expensive Wetherspoons out there, but that still makes it cheaper than most central London pubs! If you are at Victoria station this is the pub for you.“

“Visited 22/12/14 around 4pm. Bog standard Fullers pub with 4 homegrown offerings on cask, ESB, Pride, Jack Frost (seasonal), and Gales Seafarers. Also Honeydew on keg and likely pick of the bunch Fullers Vintage ’14 and Russian Imperial Stout bottled in the fridge. Bank conversion, trad pub interior, patio to rear. Service fine but pretty quiet during my visit. No real reason to visit unless your hotel is nearby, there are better Fullers pubs to hit up. 5 mins walk Victoria station, 5 mins walk Cask Pub & Kitchen.“

“Situated on the concourse, upstairs between platforms 8 and 9 this recently refurbished Spoons is handy. Beer quality has dipped a bit recently as has the range, it’s location makes it handy and probably a better option than the Willow Walk over the road. Not the best Spoons have to offer, not the worst and if you’ve got a few mins spare for a swift drink you might just find something exciting, then again maybe not!“

“A fairly average pub in the Victoria neighbourhood. An OK selection of beer on both keg and cask, but the bottle range is pretty boring. This place is pretty expensive (£5+ per pint). Nice ambiance. Filled mostly with business people from the area. The food here is decent. Not a destination pub but it’s not terrible. The two Spoonies in the area would have more interesting beers.“

“Used to be a place I’d just go for a fee piss if I was in Victoria Station and take a cursory glance at the substandard (for Spoons) range to see if there was a winner. However, last time I was in it was much improved. Plenty of new beers for me, most of the pumps devoted to festival beers. note that the beers are in two ranks - one at the top of the stairs at the toilet end and the other at the far end. And it seemed much more spick and span than it used to be. Definitely worth a visit if that wasn’t a flash in the pan.“

“’Spoons pubs are not always the most inviting places. Nor are pubs right next to railway stations. However it does usually have a pretty good beer range, better than ’Spoons average. So I’ve often popped in for a couple of scoops but wouldn’t linger. The ’Spoons actually inside the station seems to have upped its game considerably in terms of beer range recently and is actually a rather nicer place to drink so I’d go for that one if I only had time for one.“

“Very small Shepherd Neame pub in the heart of Westminster but a bit off the tourist trail so has a quite local and homely feel. However, once the office workers down tools in the the early evening it’s likely to be standing room only, with considerable overspill onto the pavement outside. Four Shepherd Name beers on cask. The lager taps are mainly stuff that Shepherd Neame make under license. By no means an essential destination but handy for visitors who are in the area (as many will be) and need to score the Shepherd Neame regular beers.“

“I’m in shock that people are not giving this place a good score. First of all, it’s a Wetherspoons. The food is as prescribed. It’s like trying to judge one McD’s food over another. The pub itself has a somewhat plain feel and it’s not a lot to look at from outside BUT it’s right beside Victoria station and has at least ten casks on at any time. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to talk about beer and the prices are GREAT, I had a curry with naan bread and popadoms and a pint of cask Jaipur for £6.50. Considering the location, the selection and the price. This place is a gem.“
