“Solid spot, albeit a bit too crowded. On a rando day/time we were quoted an hour to sit outside, which is BS in the COVID era when there was lots of space. Lots of great ticks though. DFH does still brew some decent beers! Nice bottle/merch shop adjoining too.s“

“Note: this place is part of an umbrella of concept restaurants in the southern Delaware area. So evreything in here looks like it was well thought out, spacious interior, big inside bar, beer garden and bar our back, tables and booths, and small patio out front. Average tap list of average quality. Good service, quick and friendly. Did have some corporate vibe to it.“

“Looks like a big barn. Spacious on the inside. Small bar. Lots of tables and a beer garden/ patio area. Fast service. Very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Enough taps to keep you interested. Food available, but I did not eat.“

“Small place near the commercial strip going through Rehoboth. Beer is ok, place is cheery enough. Lots of outdoor space in the summer. They had a food truck but I didn't partake. Flights available. Beer is decent.“

“Cool modern place with pretty nice food and good beer. Friendly service. Busy place, with lots of turn over in the summer. Flights available and a fair amount of different styles. Some guest beers on tap as well from local places nearby. Open patio and big place inside. Food was good. I had the catfish.“

“Solid selection of many different styles. Beers were all good, sours were my favorites. Small indoor space but a large patio with half under a large permanent tent which gave it quite a bit of space. What appeared to be a permanent pizza food truck attached as well. Casual unassuming place that was very enjoyable.“

“The brewpub – sat outside in the shade, very pleasant, kid- and dog-friendly. Overpriced all around, food selection was surprisingly small, also was disappointed at the lack of seafood given proximity and the culture of the area. And I'd appreciate some kind of nod to the region -- it doesn't have to be Jimmy Buffet kitsch, but this atmosphere can be found in strip malls across the country. For a brand built upon it, wouldn't you want to show off your adventurous side? Managed to share appetizers and wolf an entree, was definitely satisfied but not terribly impressed by any of them, an overall disappointment for taste given the sameness and relative blandness (emphasize: relative) of the beer and food. Cheerful, friendly service (albeit after a long forced wait around shift change), gift shop again overpriced and not terribly interesting, but the crowlers were quite a success. “Came here on 28.9.2018. Small brewpub just outside of Rehoboth Beach. Did not like the layout too much. Bar is far too small and the outside area did not look very inviting as it is separated by a clunky, plastic curtain. Brewery is located behind the bar, separated by a glass wall, hence the fermentation tanks are visible. 13 beers on tap, nice variety of lagers, ales and sour beers. The Oktoberfest was quite ok, the sour beer Ben had was mediocre. The service was very friendly and immediately switched to the Golf channel for the Ryder Cup when we asked her.“

“Cool little brewery in Rehoboth and a good addition to the scene there. This isn't so much a brewery as an IPA-ery, with a good 65% of their menu IPAs when I was there, plus a few sours and some lagers. Friendly staff, and lively place on a Saturday night in the summer. Extra points for playing the Edmonton Eskimos game on TV - first time I've seen that in the U.S. Their beers were ok, some hit the mark with NEIPA style while others seriously missed due to infection. The sour I had was OK. They do flights of 4 for $10.“

“Came here on 12.5.2018. Had quite high expectations. It is a very weird place. 2 restaurant buildings and a new brewhouse in between. Seems they did a lot of rebuilding in the last years. Unfortunately the beer focus is missing. Did not like the bar, not enough space. The merchandising shop is squeezed in the second building. They will open the new brewhouse very soon. Hopefully the beer focus will come back then. Needless to mention the beers are great. They had +20 on tap. A few very nice high alcohol rarities. I had a Flesh+Blood IPA and a Coconut IPA.“

“Big red house along the US1 highway, some miles outside of town centre. Lots of parking space in front. More like a sea food restaurant than taphouse. Food was very good. Flights of four available. Their few IPAs were pretty tasty.“

“About two years old place a bit out of town but actual a mile or so from DFH brewpub. Big garage like outlook. Inside it was fully packed with brewery stuff. Small bar inside. About 10 own beers, also cask. Flights of 4 available. No Wifi. Ok service. Chatted a while with the brewer. Beers are average.“

“The place looked a bit odd to me, not like I had seen in the photos over the years. Well, they opened a new shiny brewpub in May. Cool place, good beers and flights of 4 available. Brewpub specials although some of them seemed to be available also at the brewery. Didn't eat here. They are building a new storage house or shop next to pub. Probably where the old brewpub was.“

“Clean Joint! Like the deco, nautical kinda theme. Good size with plenty of seating. Fairly busy for the off season. Bar looked like it'd hold a dozen or more, brewery behind it through the windows. Service was good though the kitchen screwed up my order which in turn led to some cold tacos, oh well. Beers were solid and prices were normal. I liked the ambience, comfortable and laid back. Clean pissery though the audio in there was kinda weird. Swag and beers to go at the entrance. Good experience! Will stop in again when in the area.“

“Very cool, modern and hip space near the outlets on Route 1 in Rehoboth. The atmosphere lends a very nice vibe to the experience, with the high and open ceilings and open kitchen. The service was relatively good, but I wasn’t offering a second beer during my visit. I was there on a Saturday afternoon in July, so the place was very crowded. There was a rather large party seated across from us that seemed to garner a lot of the servers’ attention. The beer I did have was a good, new DIPA from Troegs that I hadn’t tasted before. I tasted two different pizzas, with the spicy sausage being my favorite. The other was a five-cheese pizza that was very good. I liked the fact that they burnt the fresh, tasty crust a bit. I saw a bunch of other dishes passing by, looking great, especially the mussels. Evidentially the three-meat rigatoni is good too, according to the rest of my party. They only had about six beers on draft, but it was a diverse selection with plenty more great offerings in bottles and cans. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.“

“New place that just opened up before this past summer. It is really just a small shack on the outskirts of downtown but it is a nice place to visit. A little to far to walk from downtown but you can then hit Dogfish on your way back into town. Meet one of the brewers and he loved talking about beer with us, you could tell he was passionate. While it might be a shack it is perfect for the beach atmosphere. A few more then a dozen people and the place starts to get crowded. Pretty good beer with many different styles, also a cask ale as well. No food but they seem to have food trucks regularly.“

“Stopped here after hitting Dewey then Revelation. 9 of their own beers on tap with a bunch of other guest taps. Seafood looks good, but we did not eat. They did mix up a few of the beers - served the person I came with a Brett beer vs. a DIPA (lucky we knew the difference!). I’d say average beers. Will stop by again in the area to eat some Seafood.“

“Out of the way location ... looks like a garage at first. Decent crowd, but I wouldn’t say overly busy. Bar tending had 1 speed - slow and really couldn’t keep up. Took me 20 min to get service and that was after I constantly told him I was there before other people - he had no system and was just kind of floundering. Average beers withe the brown actually standing out. That service though, makes me never want to go back to give them another try ...“

“Visited August 10th in the evening. Beautiful spot on the main street of Rehoboth. Place was crowded and they told us we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. 31 minutes later, we got our seats. Semi-rustic atmosphere, large bar and lot of tables. They have a huge selection of DFH regular beers on tap, seasonals and some rarities. Delicious pub-style food (pizzas, burgers, fish ’n chip, crab cake...). Nice service. There’s a small store outside where you can buy bottled beers, glasswares, t-shirt and fill growlers. A must place to visit for sure.“

“Visited August 10th 2016 in the afternoon. Big liquor store, almost a warehouse, near the Tanger Outlets where you can buy beer, wine, liquor, cigars... For beer, that’s a limited selection from Delaware, Maryland and NY especially as well as domestic brands. Don’t expect to find rarities here. I saw a dozen of imported beers under a layer of dust. Poor service but I don’t care in that kind of place. Prices are very good. I bought some cans at $2. Overall, a good place to stop if you want cheap local stuff and something else than DFH.“

“Relatively new spot in Rehoboth that warranted a try, very open, long narrow space. Consists of bar area on front side with 3 tvs and rest tables in back. Tables are not crowded on top of each other which is nice. Food was very tasty, got some veggie related apps, and pizza and everything was fresh and tasty. The kids meal with the pizza could possibly have been the best looking, tasting pizza for 7 bucks that you will ever see, real mozz, quality sauce, nice crust, good all around. The beer selections consisted of 6 or so taps with some decent stuff, nothing stellar or awful, but this is DE so not going to get all of the top choices, bottle/can list was nicely conceived and they seemed to have something for whatvever style you could possibly be looking for, all around I was pleasantly impressed by this place, the food was good, worth a shot if in DE beaches, they also are willing to take reservations via Open Table which is nice since one never knows how crazy wait times can be in summer boom time...“

“Great selection of Maryland and Delaware beer here, as well as some interesting international and national selections that I don’t see in D.C. Prices are pretty good for local stuff - you can buy singles of pretty much everything in six packs. A few Belgians and some Canadian and Danish stuff. They had a lot of growler pours. and the guy working the counter was friendly. Had to go back and up my score here as this place is a ticker's dream. Kind of like a Total Wine but a little better, with lots of Delaware, MD and NJ stuff, as well as ticks from everywhere. Usually a few interesting imports as well. Prices are pretty good for the age of $6-7 tall cans.“

“We visited on a busy Sunday afternoon so it took some 35-40 minutes to get seated for eating, but a couple of stools at the bar were soon available. Not for all three of us though. Unfortunately we got seated upstairs were it was way hotter than downstairs, and a bit too many families with small children were also up there, so it was sort of like a restaurant and a kindergarten combined. But the food was really nice, had the fish tacos, and we did a lot of beers as well, and had a blast. The blast continued downstairs afterwards, where we stayed until closing time and then some. Not so blasty the day after though. Sure a place to go back to, even though I doubt I’ll ever get back to Delaware.“

“Mostly wine and booze focused this one, with an array of coolers for beer close to the counter. Six-packs only. Singles in the far back. Nothing impressive going on here, and as I guess you’ll visit both the Dogfish Head brewery and the brewpub, you’ll most likely not fine anything interesting local here. We found one DFH beer though. Anyway, it’s a licuor and wine store, that’s their focus, and it seems they’re doing that part fairly weel.“

“They have a sister location in downtown Rehoboth, this is the location out on Rt 1. Great selection of rotating taps in proper glasses which is really cool. The bottle/can selection is great too. Both feature many local breweries, of course there is a selection of Dogfish. Atmosphere is typical beach fare with tchotchke all over the walls. Food is all about the pig so if you are not a fan of pork, steer clear of this place. Overall well worth a stop if you are out on Rt. 1 looking for some food and beer.“

The PnF has twelve craft beers on draft and roughly 30 bottles available. The bottle list is ever changing depending on the availability. “Paid a visit in mid August 2014. Tons of wine wine selections on one side and beer on the other. Lots of cold six and four packs. Impressed with how much craft beer they had. I really liked how they allow mix-a-six with the beers and how the prices are set at singles, six packs and cases all on one tag - very convenient. Staff did help, although they didn’t have the beer, they did know they didn’t have instead of searching for something that wasn’t there. They did have some taps and filling growlers was an option - I didn’t see what they had but there was at least a Dogfish available. One thing I didn’t like was that they don’t allow kids to sit in the shopping carts (they were wire-tied together), but I’ve seen this at other places too, not a big deal, but a little inconvenient. Overall, not a bad place, I’d go back.“

“Pig and Fish is a wonderful little pub in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The food and ambiance are really as good as it gets, and the value at happy hour is unbelievable. Beer manager Will Rogers has expanded the beer list in the last year or so to include some really special things. He has an affinity for sours and is not afraid to put on different styles. The nice thing about Rogers’s beer menu is he changes it constantly, so one weekend you might see an Allagash tap takeover while the next you will see a plethora of sours, German rarities, and specialty brews. Prices are very reasonable, even on fantastic treats of the reserve list like the Mikkeller Spontanframboos, the Cantillon Gueuze, and the Jolly Pumpkin La Roja.“

“Went here for my brother’s wedding rehearsal. Yikes, best man, probably shouldn’t have been wasted - haha, just kidding. Nah, this place is exceptional. Whoah, I had a DFH Palo Santo Marron with a super awesome Reuben, holy crap, that was an absolute awesome lunch and yet I still had to have my wife drive me back to my parents’ house. Geez Louise, I didn’t know how high that beer was. The food was absolutely stellar, holey bejeebus! The selection, well, its their beer, don’t be asking for BMC, you won’t get it. Overall, if I lived somewhat remotely close to that place, I’d be getting that on a daily to perhaps weekly maybe monthly basis depending upon exactly where I lived.“

“Parking lot is a little small, but there are a lot of meters along the median(s) just across from the entrance ($1.50/hr, quarters only, just FYI). Cool little giftshop just to the right of the entrance. Beer, tshirts, pickles, coasters, etc., prices are decent. Cool scene inside. The hostess was very nice and we sat right away, even though we sat at the bar (our choice). Tap selection was pretty vast. Many more common offerings, 1 exclusive, a few seasonals, and a couple limited offerings, and 1 on cask. Artwork and funky stuff hanging on the walls. Most of the art was from previous seasonal offerings. The funky stuff was anything from a rowboat to a fermentation tank with the Dogfish cut into it. The bar probably sat over 20. The bartender was nice, but seemed a little bitter about my ordering a flight. We ordered fried calamari, which was very good and came with a house-made chili dip. Prices were very reasonable. We also went back the next day for lunch and ordered the duck wings, the crabcake sandwich, and the pork confit sandwich, followed by the Bitches Brew brownies topped with Raison d’Etre icecream and a caramel made from the Dogfish Head Brown Rum. The tiny distillation room upstairs was pretty cool too. I will definitely be going back here.“

“I love this place and try to go every time we are at the beach. Even in the off season this place is packed. While we have had the food here, we have never been seated at the tables. Food is great and unique. We will usually just wait around till space opens at the bar and settle in for a few pints. They always have beers on tap that are brewed right on the spot and only available in Rehoboth which is nice. You can also find aged ales, some of which are several years old. One I constantly find here is the Worldwide Stout from years past. If you like a stronger drink, they have started to distill their own vodka and gin which are available.“

“Visited: 2-18-14 Ambiance: Decent place, nice long bar that can hold 20+ patrons plus tables all around, brewiana all over the walls but a warm feeling place. Service: Bartender was decent, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable Selection: A wide selection of common DFH shelf beers plus 3 exclusive beers for the brewepub. Would like to see more in house stuff personally Food: Ordered the meatloaf sandwich which was covered in cheese and had a solid smokey nose and taste. Value: Three beers plus meatloaf sandwich came in under $30. Also, if you are an AHA member, you get 15% off your bill, a bonus. “Well, I returned after 3 years. The place is just as nice as I remember, a bit quirky - certainly less packed during the off-season than during the regular season. I’ll start with the bad:

After becoming very familiar with all their regular and seasonal offerings as well as the DFH Alehouses in the DC area, this seems quite a bit less impressive. The beer selection is roughly equivalent to the other alehouses, and the food menu is a bit smaller here.

Why travel 3 hours (without traffic) to find that the *2 day old* menu they posted online is already almost totally out of date? That you only have two brewpub only offerings instead of the six listed (plus Pangaea, which is apparently now brewpub only) and you didn’t even tap a new beer? Weak sauce. Everything else you can get year round or easily during the season it is released.

The highlight of our trip was not the beer but the various liquor offerings they distill. They were very good. The liquor sampler was tasty. The mixed drinks were tasty. Most of our table switched to liquor after the first round of 2-3 samplers.

Fine as a tourist trap or uninitiated, but that’s about it.

Original Review:
I’m used to not only "city prices" and the prices at the Dogfish Alehouses in Virginia, so nothing really was a shock to me when entering the establishment. Food menu a bit smaller than I’d probably would have liked, but the food was quite good, so it’s not really a huge problem. Place is busy as all get out. We were able to wrangle up a spot at the bar, and slowly fill the bar with our group as people got up to leave. We passed on both the outdoor seating and the indoor seating, which were an hour for each. When we returned the following day at around 12:30 (they opened at 12 on Sunday) to pick up some Spirits to take home with us, we overheard someone mention an hour long wait for a table.“
