56 /100 UNIT 108-111, THE TRAFFORD CENTRE
“In the large restaurant area of the Trafford Centre amongst many of the most recognisable food outlets in the UK. The pub is located in the themed New Orleans district of the dining areas and is relatively small compared to others in this chain, however there are enough tables to satisfy all the diners here that certainly outweigh casual drinkers. The bar itself is small and ale selection is limited.“

58 /100 CHILL FACTORE, TRAFFORD WAY
“At the end of (but separate to) the UK’s longest indoor ski slope - Chill Factore, and just a stones throw away from the Trafford Centre. This is one of the more curious Wetherspoon pubs given the lack of residential housing in the area. The boundaries of the Manchester ship canal and the extensive shopping areas around the Trafford Centre mean this is a place you pretty much have to drive to, and as such it is a place most people come to eat at rather than any seasoned drinking, that said the full range of drinks are available including real ales. Given it is part of the ski-complex the decor sways towards a ski-lodge appearance, although parts of it are more modern than you would expect in an wooden alpine getaway, but the roaring open fire is perfect when the winter months are around. There’s plenty of parking available.“

56 /100 SEYMOUR GROVE, OLD TRAFFORD
“Marston’s pub selling its own ales and a Banks’ Bitter on keg next to an ordinary range of lagers. It’s located opposite the Metrolink station and is obviously full on match days given its location to Old Trafford Park. Inside it is comfortable enough, but a little stale with a sturdy suburban mix of wood and soft furnishing. Food is on a chain menu and cheap. There’s tables to sit on out front.“

“Airy Wetherspoon pub in a ground level building but split level in side. The bar is quite long, which is useful for sports event days being situated a stones throw away from the two Old Trafford grounds. Unless you are specifically attending a game then it is best to avoid this place on those days. Football is naturally shown at this Wetherspoon and ales are readily available on two rows of pumps. The decor uses the traditional wood style but the furniture feels more durable than soft and you’ll notice Manchester United themed pictures and displays on the walls.“
