“Formerly owned by Gales, ownership passed to Fullers when they took ownership of Gales. A lovely whitewashed stone building with thatched roof. Inside you will find a variety of seating from a more formal dining area to snugs and less formal tables. Two real log fires. Tasty menu with daily specials. Beers from the Fullers core and seasonal ranges often with a guest from another brewery are always in fine fettle and the staff are courteous and very helpful. Has a heated outside seating area for thiose smoker types but its also nice to sit out in the sunshine an dsup a pint or two in the summer. One of my favourite pubs in Hampshire this one. Fullers pub of the year 2010.“
