“Probably just the same as pretty much every other Total Wine. As someone who is an out-of-towner, it's nice to get there and get a lot of locals I can't normally get. Location is a decent size, with plenty of wine, and liquor as well.“

“A stone's throw from I-95, this is now a MUST visit for me next time I'm in the area. #1 of 13 breweries visited in Florida this trip. Super well-appointed pub in a nice little area, parking was readily available. What really stood out was the super friendly staff! They had a good array of beers on tap, and all we tried were outstanding. Go here!! Brewery #943.“

“Simple pouring area with lots of variety on tap ..... I think they are the most well rounded breweries in this area .... ambiance is not much and they are young, but they at not afraid to think outside the box and are decent at it .... good stuff keep going boys“

“A really nice place to drink craft beer. Their beers are solid. The facility is top notch. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even the restrooms were really well thought-out. There’s a game room upstairs although I’ve never taken advantage of that. I’m a fan of Matt Cox, the brewmaster, since his days at Big Bear brewpub down in Coral Springs.“

“Due South is a very large, strange brewery packed away in a light industrial park. We walked in, what I thought was the front, but it looks like there’s a tasting room on the other side. This place is really huge - lots of room to expand. There’s a bier garden and a bar. Lots of beers on tap. Friendly staff. Lots of unique beers.“

“Nice looking brewery packed in a light-industrial park. Friendly staff. Pretty sure I talked with an owner or the brewer. Didn’t have a chance to make it on a tour (they had one, but we passed), but had a few nice beers in the tasting room. 13 in total I believe. Tasting room was pretty nicely decorated, better than many breweries. Dynamic lighting, nice wood tones.

Taster sizes, regular pints and various growler fills are available of all their beers. I will definitely make a return trip when I make it back down to Florida.“

“Really enjoyed my first visit here a few weeks back. The space is large and in a warehouse...but divided nonetheless into a bar area out in the open...also a large open area of the warehouse were beer pong was being played and there were many tables for enjoying the food truck offerings (BBQ the night I visited)...as well as a separate back room bar area with AC). Best thing of all are the beers...absolutely loved them...some of the best I tasted on this Gold Coast tour (along with LauderAle). Crazy about the Cat 5...bought cans to go and flew them back to NJ. The other very cool thing is the vibe of the place...very friendly...and the layout somehow encouraged meeting and talking to strangers...not an easy thing to accomplish...and often can’t be planned...I suppose there’s a certain amount of luck to pulling that of in a design. As a comparison...nearby Saltwater was totally lacking in this respect. I highly recommend Due South as a stop on any Gold Coast craftbeer tour...it ain’t fancy...but your guaranteed to have a fun time there if your willing to go with their vibe.“

“Visited later in the evening on a Tuesday. Not the easiest place to find, easy enough to find the address, less so to actually find the door to the brewery. I highly recommend you follow the directions on their site (*). They have basically taken a portion of their production brewery and warehouse and turned it into a tasting room. There is a long bar, assorted tables, and an area to play cornhole (or whatever it is called around here). This whole are was pretty warm and sticky on a late June evening, so I opted to sit in the separate air conditioned bar behind the main bar. They had 14 Due South beers on which featured a number of creative beers. Beers are sold as flights, 10 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz. Can and regular growlers are also available. Ordering is bar service only. Service was friendly and fun - this would be a great place to come with a group.

* When you go north on High Ridge Rd., don’t pay any attention to the street numbers as they are wrong. We are in the building on the northeast corner of High Ridge Rd. and Industrial Way. We are between Sherwin-Williams and Boynton Granite and Marble. Just turn on Industrial Way and turn left in behind Sherwin-Williams.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Came on the first Brewbus beer tour in South Florida. Wow some great beers and a neat place. Ambiance is well it sucks unless your a Jimmy Buffet fan which makes it fantastic. Warehouse, brewery and taproom in one. A really great place to sample beer.“

“Wacky "European" beer garden in a strip center. That being said, they have a very nice German tap selection, friendly staff, and good food. The large tables are perfect for gathering with friends. Prost....“

“Expensive and thorough tap selection, yet they don’t know what they are doing. I was attracted by Saison Dupont on tap. It was delivered with no head in a Beer Stein (a bit warm as well). Anybody that knows Saison Dupont, knows its practically impossible to get no head unless the bartender was brushing it off like a server at TGIF. At the end of the night I come out the restroom to behold an extensive glassware selection, including glassware proper for Saison Dupont. Servers seeing me looking at the selection begin to brag, to which I ask, why was my beer delivered in a Stein? Silence.......“

“Large taplist for an industrial taproom. Strange atmosphere sitting there, right in the brewery, but it’s pleasant anyway. The two IPAs I had were good, but not homeruns yet. This is a new brewery, so it will be fun to follow their evolution. There were lots of different beers on tap already, including a few guests.“

“This is actually a very fun place, although very busy and understaffed on a Saturday. The beers are pretty good, they rotate often and they have a few surprises aging in casks, and bottle conditioning. Judging by the crowd they’ll be around for a long while. Oh yeah! after you’re done spilling a few down your neck you can go marble shopping in the parking lot. But hey, people, get rid of those damn I-pads you’re using as credit card readers, they’re slowing down an already slow operation. Update June 4 2013: I-pads appear to be gone and bartenders are much more engaged. Tom is one of the many knowledgeable and friendly people behind the bar“

“Nice little bar located in an old cottage house near downtown Boyton Beach. About 20 taps with nice selection, especially for this area of FL. Found a couple of new ticks and had the $1 happy hour chicken salad sliders which were pretty good for a buck. Place has a nice relaxed vibe and the menu had some very temping items. Place has only been open for a couple of months and should be interesting to see how they grow. Definitely worth a stop and nice change of pace compared the your normal south Florida restaurants. CASH ONLY.“

“Large building in back of small industrial complex that is right off the expressway. Food truck outside selling food when I visited which was nice as they do not serve food at the brewery. Decent sized bar with a air conditioned room tucked back in the corner of the brewery. 5 regulars and their Category 3 IPA on tap when I was there and all of their offering were solid to above average. Sell of all of there beers 32oz or full gallon size growlers which is pretty cool. Service was good and there was a TV with the game on and some people playing bags on the other side of the brewery. Building is huge so they have a lot of room to grow. Should be interesting to see how this place grows. Nice to see a true brewery and tap room in this area.“

“Same as every Total Wine, but had a few things the Boca Raton store did not have. Hard to not like a place that has so many singles. Lacking in special releases, but more than enough in terms of selection to warrant a stop.“

“GPS won't lead you to the exact location, it's just down the street. Great classic brewery feel in a nice large open space. All beers are well priced and full of flavor. They gave food trucks on location on Fridays and takeout menus on a board to get deliveries. They also have cornhole set up to play. Great place to relax with some friends!“

“Update: There is now an air-conditoned tasting room that seats 12+ people. Also, as long as Category 4 IPA is flowing, I can’t give the "selection" any score below a 12. Tasty, bitter stuff! Original rating: Right now, the tasting room is just an open-air, bare-bones bar next to a huge cold storage unit on the east end of a 15,000 square foot warehouse. A modest-sized brewing area lies smack dab in the middle of all that space. Reminds me of Cigar City’s meager beginnings. Lots of unused space. Well, Mike’s a class act and I’m hopeful that one day 15,000 square feet doesn’t cut it anymore. I’m not certain of how many taps there are at the moment, but when I dropped by, there were about five Due South beers available. There are stools at the bar, several card tables and chairs scattered about the place and a little palm tree in a big bucket looking lonely and misplaced indoors amongst all the tables and chairs. Still a nice gesture. Cool and quaint. Service was fast and friendly and there was a large flat-screen television in the bar area. There is now an air-conditioned tasting room, but I haven’t been inside it yet. I sampled everything and then purchased three growlers to go. Before I had the chance to scoot, Mike took the time to come out of hiding to shake my hand and welcome me to the place. The brewery is about 100 yards from the nearest exit on I-95, so the place is conveniently located and there’s plenty of room for parking. I enjoyed my short visit and my numeric rating of the place will surely increase as the place is tightened up and the selection of available beers has expanded. Good luck and best wishes for much success go out from me to Mike and his wife in their new venture!“

“Same as the other Total Wines everywhere, but sometimes they have stuff here that they don’t in PBG. They all still have the problem of keeping up with what’s new, and I don’t understand why they don’t have every Cigar City beer that’s available in bottles.“

“Huge selection of world wide beer, wine and liquor. Aisles of domestic singles and 6 packs. Could have spent a couple hours here to decide on what to buy. Only spent half an hour. Asked for help twice, was only helpful once. Not your local micro store, but huge selection can’t be beat.“

“As with any Total Wine, it is the best overall selection you will find in South Florida and the prices really can’t be beat. This store currently lacks a full time beer person. Most of the staff that have extensive beer knowledge have been moved to other stores but there are still a couple that have a decent knowledge. Most of the time they are too busy with wine and liquor though. But for the most part if a distributor carries it, Total Wine has it.“

“Like the Boca Raton store, it is a couple walls of beer. Good place to get singles of some fairly common stuff, but nothing too rare or exciting to pick up. good place to get some singles for rates. Nobody knows much about beer unless you are there when the beer rep happens to be there stocking shelves. If you know what you are looking for this place is decent.“
