“amazing two room back street boozer on camra inventory of historic interiors, waitress service to the lounge/library! if you visit Liverpool come and try the well cared for(if a little pricey) real ale, its worth it!“

“Once you arrive in Waterloo it’s easy to see why Wetherspoon have a pub here. It’s a microcosm of Liverpool night life with a greater than average number of well-used pubs and food outlets all in one small commercial street that ends at the lake separating this suburb from northern part of the Mersey estuary. This one also feel different with a design that feels like a craft brewpub. It’s a bright two room affair with a central brick wall separating the defined areas with the bar along the side wall on the left. There’s no doors between the two sides and the decor nods to both the aviation history of the city as well as the former use for the building. There’s a funky outdoor area that wouldn’t look out of place in the ’Big Brother’ house. Ales served.“
