One of the great things about this place is it is open for lunch. It is also around the corner from Takamura a stylish wine & coffee shop. The interior is all dark wood with 7 seats at the bar and 15 seats at assorted tables in the front. When I went it was full of ladies in their finest graduation hakama/kimonos-kind of cool. Only one staffer so he was swamped making burgers so I had to wait for my brown ale. I didnít mind though as it was my day off & I was killing time before hitting the nearby Osaka Museum of Art (you could have a nice day hitting here, the museum, Higobashi Beer Belly after it opens at 5pm and then QBrick, Garage 39 & Yellow Ape). 400-550 for half-pints and 750-1000 for pints. Decent prices, burgers are 600-700 yen(900 for a double) plus a buck if you want fries & another buck for a drink. Not bad but they should have a beer set option. A nice place with a chill atmosphere. The beers are as mentioned mostly Minohís core brews plus a seasonal so in that sense it is a bit boring. Good for the space & food, plus bonus for being open at lunch time!

Nice contrast to Beer Belly Higobashi, try to visit both and see which one you like best! When Iím hungry, the burgers and fries at BB Edobori canít be beat! Good selection, have always had a nice cask on when I visit.

Was initially gutted that the other Beer Belly was closed the night we wanted to visit, but in the end delighted to stay here the whole night. 5 regular taps, one seasonal and 2 rotating real ale handumps. Staff was a one man show, but he was excellent, attentive and friendly. Great place to drink Minoh and the food is great too. Decent prices and a good atmosphere too. Canít wait to go back, just sad it wonít be for a while.

Surprisingly completely empty on a Saturday night. Had one guest beer when I was there, but the rest were Minohís offerings. Only tried the fried potatoes, but they were very tasty. I agree that the other Beer Belly is the better Beer Belly.

A couple steps behind itís older brother in Higobashi beerwise. Here they only serve Minohís own brews, though, and usually no guests. It is a little more spacious, though, and has a different food menu. Big, juicy, hamburgers are the main deal--and very delicious. Get the double bacon cheese Edobori Burger, •900. Still, a very good place to drink Japanese Micro--and the seasonals are usually different to the ones at the other Belly.
