I heard good things about this place so me and a couple friends stopped by, the atmosphere was solid and they had a good selection of beer such as dragonmead and dirty bastard. The service was awful, our waitress was the dumbest human being alive, though she did have a nice rack. She fucked up our order 3 times and the cook has no idea what the term "rare" means, it was awful we were all pissed!

Had to sit outside because they still allow smoking inside, but was happy to. The creek below was nice to see. The beer selection was great, and the food, while pretty much typical for this type of establishment, was great. The buffalo burger wasnít available, but hey, many good beers were.

It had been several years since Iíd been in the Tavern and while the decor has not changed, they now have quite a beer selection. Complete with some great Michigan brews and European beers on tap. The place also features some great bottles. Also, donít miss the burger and the rest of their menu. In the Summer, the rear patio overlooks the small Paint Creek and the deck is affectionately known as the Paint Creek Yacht Club. A great, small place that has a comfortable feel with great service and some nice TVís if you want to watch a game and have a great beer.
