This is a nice place. They offer a good bit of supplies. The service is generally pretty solid, though some of the workers donít know nearly enough as others. The prices are pretty high.

Great when you need something right away (like in the middle of brewing a batch). Otherwise I would probably order most things online for better prices. But, I do like to support local shops and this has a pretty good selection of supplies. Iíve never really paid attention to what they have in the way of ingredients, though. The staff is friendly, and though Iíve never actually spoken to someone about their brewing supplies, I have seen someone being helped in that section. At the register they had cards for the local homebrew association, which I thought was cool.

Located near downtown Charlottesville in an old Vespa dealership. This place specializes in hydroponics to help people grow their... umm... tomatoes. Other gardening items and of course, homebrew supplies. They have all the homebrewing basics. Prices are a bit high (though not unreasonable) and selections are a bit limited. If you are in Charlottesville on brew day and need something in a pinch this place is great but for more variety you need to go north of town. Nice people. Plenty of parking.
