Only ordered online. Nice selection of beers with some out-of-market gems for me including Surly and Deschutes. Reasonable beer prices, shipping prices are ok. Good packing with styro shippers.

ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN OF THE BEST BEER STORES THERE ARE! WILL HELP YOU WITH ANY QUESTION AND NOT ACT LIKE THEY KNOW SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU (EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW MORE THAN MOST OF US BEER LOVERES) Karen is extremely helpful and is great with any thing to do with the shipping. I would recommend them to anyone who is wanting to order beer online and receive it without a single problem, there charge for wrapping is minimal, compared to how much they use so that is a huge plus! Go with France44 you will not be upset or disappointed one bit. Greg Kite Kites Beer and Wine KitesBeer@gmail.com Rare Beer Detective, Message me!

This is a great liquor store in general. Its a place I go to try new liquors, scope a decent deal on some beer I most likely wont see at other stores, let my fiancee browse the wine selection and do a tasting. Also, if you are looking for beer and cheese/ meat pairings this is by far one of 2 places in the metro I would shop. Plus, bring your dog!

I did a lot of checking to see where the best place to stock up on alcohol was. I really wanted a case of Great Divide Titan IPA and some other craft brews. I called and wanted to arrange Bill ordering in a fresh case. He spoke with the beer distributor rep and made sure the product was there and it was fresh. I was impressed by his service and ability to assist me. France 44 has a ton of wine and spirits as well as a great beer selection. I noticed they also had an area (small) to eat too. My son and I thought the food looked really good. The store is actually located in St Louis Park, just west of Minneapolis. Nice area and there seems to be a lot of activities (positive ones) in the area. I parked on the street but use France 44ís parking lot on the east side of the building. Lots of traffic otherwise.

Ordered some 4 packs online to be shipped to NYC. Very smooth transaction - confirmation and shipping were done efficiently. Great packaging. I would definitely order again. An ideal service fir anyone within their shipping range that cannot purchase any surly brews otherwise.

Nice selection but definitely over-priced. Lsrge amount of cold craft beers and some stuff that isnít easily found elsewhere

Been stopping here off and on for years now and finally getting around to rating it. Selection has gotten increasingly better over the last 2 years. Craft beer selection is definitely above average and hangs around for awhile, mostly because some(but not all) of the really rare one-offs are grossly over priced to comparable stores. Worth stopping in to? Yes. But only if you canít find what youíre looking for at Zipps, The Four Firkins or Liquor Barrel.

December 19, 2011 - met here for a trade and stopped in the store to check it out. Seemed like a decent joint. There was a nice wall of singles, though seemed a little pricey at $2.25 a pop for all, including stuff like Leinieís. Very large beer cave that was stocked with craft brews.
