Shipping is a bit more expensive than Etre Gourmet, and before the prices here were above Etre Gourmet. Now they are about in line with their main competitor in this niche marketplace. Shipping can sometimes be more expensive or even cheaper than Etre Gourmet so check both. There are also sometimes clearance items of good geuze bottles that are a steal. Again, make sure for each bottle you add that you don’t bump up the shipping bracket costs. One 12oz bottle could cost you an extra 40 euro in shipping if you are not careful. Email communication for this webshop is worse than Etre Gourmet, but the boxes arrive quickly as if by magic. And they pack their bottles in PVC pipe insulation- read: bomb proof. Indestructible packing.

quite a good selection and excellent communication. packing seems worrysome with horizontally-laid bottles in foam cores, but I’ve never had breakage.

I stopped by the shop in person and met Kurt. He shipped beers for me at cost and didn’t charge anything over shipping cost and the price of the packing materials. Prices were easily 40% better than I could have received having shipped them myself.

Seems like a nice webshop but beer prices can be quite high, even without shipping costs.

For those living further away from Belgium I can imagine this is a decent service. Shipping record seems to be impeccable.

I ordered 4 bottles of Armand 4, which arrived at my door in about 3 weeks. They were packed extremely well, and arrived in great shape. Local shipping is by the regular US postal service. Price was 36 euro per bottle, a 50% mark-up from what Armand charges. Shipping was 60 euro. I wish I could have tracked the shipment, so I could figure out the arrival day, since you have to be there to sign for it. A low stress way to get special beers from Belgium, if you don’t mind the investment. I would use them again.
