| Unibonger (22), Mount Shasta, California | | November 11, 2009 NIce modern facility, brewing equipment upstairs (well, right above your head). The beer taps come down from the ceiling instead of out of the wall or up from the bar (no worry though, they are chilled internally). Friendly staff, responsive service. Didn’t try the food though the kitchen was making me hungry. The nitro stout is a must try. | | opkutech (15), Wisconsin | | October 6, 2009 The bartender was very nice and seemed to love to chat "Tourist" with me. The food was phenomenal. The beer...eh...pretty average. With other brew pubs and "local tap" bars just 15min north, I wouldn’t waste my time again (unless it’s to eat). | dirt55 (8), Washington does not count - explanation | | May 9, 2009 wonderfully lit and clean brewpub, surrounds you with brew kettles/etc., great staff, great food, just a little pricey (it’s in ashland what do you expect), very tasty beer, all around wonderful | | Enniskillen (66), Salinas, California | | April 14, 2009 Seemed to be a decent place, decent beer. Had the vegetarian chili which was decent. Seemed to be an average brewpub. | | IrishBoy (66), Bakersfield, California | | April 13, 2009 Place was very crowded for dinner but Enniskillen and I found seats at the bar. 7 Standing Stone brews on draft and Enniskillen said his chili was good. The food all around us looked excellent and people were swarming in to eat! | | polarbeer (10), | | December 2, 2008 This was nice place for dinner and some good beer. They had a band playing the night we ate dinner. | | DTM (13), Winters, California | | July 31, 2008 From the outside, it looks like a small place, but this place is fairly big, even with some outdoor seating in the back. The beer sampler was $5 for 7 samples. The food was a little pricing, but was good. The beer was maybe a touch above average. | | beerguy101 (48), Newark, California | | September 10, 2006 Nice light and airy brewpub in an old historic building. Lots of light wood and chrome, yet doesn’t have that yuppy feel to it. The brew kettle and tuns are on the catwalk above the bar. Service was excellent, thank you for letting me finish by beer sampler before I ordered food. Beers were solid, a little above normal brewpub standard. The food was good. It was a little pricy, but that also seems to be the norm lately. | | Oakes (428), Vancouver, British Columbia | | January 26, 2006 Fairly typical brewpub experience. Some pretty good beers and a lousy starter beer. Friendly, helpful service and a decent patty melt. Beer to go. Nothing wrong with that. | | harlequinn (112), Tacoma, Washington | | January 7, 2006 Nothing special from the outside, you would almost miss it. It j ust kind of blends into the shopping center that it sits in right off the street. Although when I sat down at the bar, I was afraid the kegs and fermenters were going to collapse and fall on me. The beer is pretty tasty and the service is so so, the food was killer though. |
