A short detour from my job, this LHBS is my supplier of cleaning solution, caps, dried yeast packets, etc. Not that his choice of malts and hops are bad, and his turnover seems pretty good, it’s just that I usually buy in bulk cheaper elsewhere. But in a bind I’d trust them without a problem. Annick provides super friendly service and offers reasonably priced gear that you won’t find in most other stores. Great place for beginners, they offer homemade kits which are decent and festabrew kits which are can’t-miss. A small collection of books and bar accessories can be found as well.

Strip mall location and fairly bland store layout is completely functional without being exciting. Owner-operated business and they go out of their way to do whatever they possibly can for their clients. They are very knowledgeable and and do not hesitate to share their experiences. Selection of malts is fair. Hop and yeast selections are expanding all the time (and they are not shy about making special orders either). Plenty of supplies and kits for the wine-making crowd also. Perhaps the best homebrew shop in the Montreal area which offers a lot of choice...
