A really stripped down setting on the Promenade in Long Beach. Nonetheless, the food is great (bbq chicken and pork equally yummy), the beers are plentiful and award winning, and the ambiance is pleasant. A very welcoming and pleasant brewpub.

A nice place in a pedestrian street, with patio and indoor seating. Sort of rough, but I liked it. The food was great, too big portions, and we had a friendly bunch of waiters. Not all beers equally interesting, but itís certainly a place Iíd like to return to.

Go for the food and stay for the beer. The food is great if youíll are a BBQ nut. Itís in a trendy pocket and looks like an old converted garage. Nice outdoor space, good service and tons of taps. Their local stuff is good, not great but good. A destination, maybe not, but if you are in the area you will not be disappointed.

Met Womencantsail here for a few tasters and a few bottles of our own. Short walk from the town center, and the water, and the hotels. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly btap list was decent. Food was excellent.

A very nice brewpub with an awesome combo of the Beachwood house beers and guest taps. House hoppy beers are almost always very well done, and the guests rotate frequently. Food is very good as well, I am officially addicted to the smoked chicken wings. Always a good time to be had at Beachwood.

Had two flights of 4 with a palate cleanser cider. Happy hour was a great value 3-6 weekdays with 5 dollar sandwiches, etc... Waiter was knowledgable enough but slow. Great food with killer brews are a prefect combo. Bottle list is outstanding also. Will be back.

Really cool little spot fairly close to where we were staying. Incredible food, remarkable tap and bottle options, and the decor was relaxed yet upscale. Loved the chalkboards with the tap list. Server was personable and knew a bit about the menu and brews. Will definitely return when near Long Beach.

Wow. Itís been a while since Iíve been here, but itís too good not to rate. Anyway, I stopped in here for a few beers while at a conference for work, and was really impressed with the quality of the house beers. Nice downtown location and a very friendly bartender made this a good experience. I would classify this as an upscale brewpub? I canít remember if they served food, but I didnít get any. The beers were very good. Iíd go back next time Iím in the area.

Stopped in for a late lunch with the family. Typical brewpub atmosphere, but good service and an excellent taplist of both their own beers and an impressive list of "guest" beers as well. Flights of their beers were only $6 for four about 6 oz pours, which seemed like a pretty darn good deal. The bottle list is equally impressive, with things like SNR10 for $42. Unfortunately it is all consume on premises. A couple bottles to go of their own beer are typically available. Food was pretty good as well. All in all a place I wish I had a lot closer to home.
