Since there are so many ratings of this place and I have nothing particularly original or contrarian to say about it, I will keep this brief - excellent tap list - overwhelming bottle list - tasty food - comfortable and friendly, despite the decor giving off a rather pretentious vibe when you walk in - excellent place, and certainly a must-stop if in Seattle.

Last beer stop of the day that I could convince the other half to stop at. Figured I might as well go out with a bang.
Big bar/restaurant with tons of space to sit inside, outside, at the bar, what have you. Very clean and modern look and feel to the place. Lots of dark stained wood and stainless steel. Comfortable bar stools as well, a big plus.
The servers here were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately they don’t do tasters here and aren’t even really "allowed" to do just a splash of something if you’re unsure of (kind of annoying). But, there is a ton to choose from here between the 50+ taps and who knows how many hundreds of bottles.
Pricing is fair for the most part, though on some items I had to kind of roll my eyes...particularly on some of the Belgian imports (Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Rodenbach) and some of the US sour beers as well.
Regardless of the drawbacks, this is one of the very best beer bars I’ve been to. I could easily see myself being a regular if I was a Seattle resident.

Beautiful scenery, great beer, awesome bottle options, wonderful service, and some great food. One of the best places in my trip to Seattle.

On my previous visit, in 2008, I felt that Brouwer’s Café was the best I had been to in the US, superior even to Hopleaf in Chicago, Blind Tiger in NYC and Brickskeller in DC, so I was anxious to test that feeling on a recent trip to Seattle. And I was not disappointed, the range of beers are still outstanding with about half of the 64 taps offering mainly NW craft beer. Service was fast and very informative, I even got to talk a bit with the daily manager who said he would rather have 40 top notch beers on draft than 100+ with much slower rotation. A man after my heart! The food, as I remembered it from last time, was delicious and filling (huge portions). So, all in all Brouwer’s Café is still my No1 in America. Visited: 2014-07-15.

The best place in Seattle. Impressive taplist and a massive bottle selection with loads of vintages, but unfortunately they don’t sell them to go. Really tasty food and a nice atmosphere. A bit pricey, though, and they don’t sell samplers or 6oz tasters which was a bummer.

This place had really interesting interior. Service was ok. As European ticker, lots of nice local picks on tap list. Food was good too. Number one of Seattle beer places.

Of the Seattle biggies, this is the one that has it all and is a must stop. Combination of super impressive draft list, bottle list and food. The drafts were a nice mixture of local and harder to find stuff from everywhere like a Prairie Spaghetti Western. The bottles were most impressive. Verticals of stuff like parabola, 4 different bottleworks (2 more as Bottleworks), lots of Cantillon. Prices were a bit high but nothing too outrageous. Cool clean atmosphere, I liked the wide open spaces. Service was decent, a bit annoying at either not showing up or coming too often, couldn’t find the balance. Fun place, I’ll be back.

Visited many times when I was pretty much living in Seattle. Great beer bar with over 60+ rotating taps and an impressive beer list of locals and rarities. Selection is outstanding from locals to great classics. Food is also pretty darn good as well. Prices are reasonable except maybe some of the vintage beers which are always hard to price these days with supply and demand. Overall, a world class bar with great food that is a must for any beer nerd finding themselves in the Great NW.

Great tap selection. Good food. Not busy but bar service was good. Definitely good value for the selection which was heavy on barley wines -a week after a barley wine event.
