Visited July 2012. In the midlle of f...... nowhere, situated between two autoshops, lies this 3 story bar with an exellent selection of beers. Mikkeller, Brewdog, Thornbridge etc and a lot of czechs. The staff knows very litlle english but is very friendly. Wifi, ask for the code.

Middle of nowhere, eventually found - walked past at first as I thought it was a pet shop! Trying so hard to be an international bar, half the taps local, half expensive imports. No atmosphere, and I doubled the clientele when I walked in, not surprisingly disinterested service.

(Visited July 2013) A bit odd, but very nice beer bar in an area where I wouldn’t end up if I didn’t know what I was looking for. It’s a bit out of the beaten tourist track, not far from the Bohemians soccer stadium, accessible with trams 7 and 24. The bar is located at the end of a slightly shady street next to a garage. Once inside the interior is mainly steel and concrete, with a large bar along one wall. There’s seating downstairs as well, but it was empty on my visit. Not very cosy, but once inside I felt quite comfortable seated by the bar, mainly down to the friendly and efficient service and the rest of the friendly and beer interested guest. Quite a good selection of draught beers, 16 taps and lots of imported beers from Belgium, US, UK and Germany, together with a couple of fairly rare Czech beers. Took a 15 minute walk to Zly Casy upon leaving. Nice and friendly place and worth the detour.

This was the best bar I visited in Prague. Great selection! There are 16 taps and some bottles. During my visit there were on tap 3 brewdog beers, 2 De Molen (Hel & Verdoemenis and Amarillo), Sunturnbrew and some really good Czech beers like Matuska Apollo Galaxy and Koutsky 12. No food but we ate a lot during that trip so this was not a problem :D

I kind of like this place, even if it lacks a friendly atmosphere. It’s kind of dead and cold in there. But the beers are great. Some very nice ones, and for Praha expensive (but still ok compared to where these brews come from), international micro brands such as Nřgne Ř and Mikkeller. Only place in Praha where you can get those on tap I think? For that reason alone, added the 15 (I think) taps of all excellent beers, this place is worth a visit. Too bad it’s a bit out of the way. Move this place centrally (and into something more welcoming) and it’s a winner.

No doubt, comparisons are often misleading, but it is not completely false to call this beer-bar "the czech Mikkeller": minemalistic design, very far from a typical Bohemian beer hall, it looks like a tidy tool shed; the constantly rotating 15 taps come both from excellent chech micros and from the usual suspects (hard to find elsewhere in Praha) like Mikkeller, 8 Wire, Brew Dog, Nřgne Ř and so on… By the way, it takes only a 15 minutes walk through the lesser golden parts of Prague from Žižkov (Zlý časy) to Vršovice (Zubatý pes - Large toothed dog)!

A cracking bar. Somewhat off the beaten track but I would go so far as to say it has the best beer selection of any pub in Prague. I realise that Zly Casy is round the corner and has a far larger selection but the actual quality of the taps in Zubaty are consistently more impressive. The price of the measures is very reasonable compared to what I’m used to for such grand beers and they’re sold in the measures you’d want. Some of the art on the walls will give you nightmares. This pub is well worth making some time for.
