The only homebrew shop iíve spent any real time in, so thinks like value/selection are fairly subjective here. But theyíve always had what Iíve been looking for, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They do a lot to support the local beer and brewing scene.

Iím fairly new to homebrewing, but the shop was nice, had everything I needed, and Tony was very helpful and knowledgeable. Iíll definitely go back again. In fact, if he was open right now, Iíd be there now.

The only homebrew store located in Richmond proper. Only open a few months, during my visit there were several other homebrewers there, so they seem to be doing a good business. The owner Tony is a nice guy, experienced homebrewer and is willing to give advice. The shop is small but comfortable. Thereís even a couch in the front. All the essentials are there with a good selection of grain, extract, hops, yeast, adjuncts, kits, equipment and books. There wonít be anything too unusual here but there will be everything you need. Prices seemed to be average to a little high on some items. Grain can be milled to order. There is small amount of parking in front and apparently more parking somewhere else in the shopping center. It seems like a cool area, and there is even a farmerís market in the same shopping center. Thereís a barbecue joint right next door if youíre hungry. Overall a nice place.
