Located in an old house on the main strip this was another unexpected surprise. Obviously wine is the thing here but they have a pretty solid beer section. Beer’s in the back. They allow you to make your own sixer and they discount 10% if you buy 12 bottles. They have a few imported craft but the specialty seems to be local and regional craft. They also hold some things back for their best customers. Because I’d spent a little bit the owner broke out the 120 minute IPA for sale. And the prices were very good. Again it’s another reason in Fredericksburg not to buy your beer from Wegman’s

Best little beer store in town. They are first and foremost a wine shop but they take very good care of beer lovers and carry a very respectable variety. They get new stock in all the time and do free tastings AT LEAST every Thursday evening.
