Vast selection of beer, but I question their storage practices greatly. It seems to be loaded with beers that have been in there for a while. I have bought some items from them only to find them well past their prime and unenjoyable to say the least.

Visited recently on a trip. Fist word of advice is if traveling this might not be the best place to go, I happened to be staying right near it but if its more than 30 minutes out of the way then I would not make the trip. Yes, it is a big store with lots of beer. Unfortunately, it is very expensive and the stock is old, sometimes ridiculously old. So, some nice treats, lots of old beer, and some very high prices. It had a large selection of Cigar City but I would not trust anything hoppy and the Sea Bass was $19. As far as American crafts, there were Dogfish head, Bells, and probably most of what is available in the state but prices were often outrageous ($5 for a single of Mad River Belgian, I think every 6pack was over $10). So, if you are looking for American craft beer I would go to somewhere with better turnover. Then there is the import section, lots of Belgians and many of them pretty old. It seems like 2008 was a popular year, saw some Duinen, í06 3F Sch Kriek, old label Achel, etc. However, some prices are decent b/c the beer is old and some prices are ridiculous (Moinette for $24, 3f for 37). I saw lots of very old foreign lagers, I saw labels I had not seen in years, 2 year old IPAs, some older lambics but nothing too special. Picked up some 2008 Holy Mackeral. The place looks like any regular old shop, the guy behind the counter talked my ear off and tried to sell me on 2 year old 120 Minute. For a local looking for some aged Belgians or last possible place for a certain beer to be in stock, this is the place to go, as a visitor this was a bit of a waste.

AVOID! Total scam! A shame, but I have to agree with the newer internet reviews on this place and assume itís gone downhill. With the poor economy and high gas prices, itís an expensive wasted trip. Some have praised the so-called "selection" (which is even missing most of the "greats"), but in reality ***YOU COULD PAY TO HAVE THE SAME BEER SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR FOR LESS.*** For example, expecting to pay $10 from the sticker on a 4-pack, I was informed that was actually the price of an individual bottle. $4-6 inflation PER BOTTLE pretty much sums up the greedy beer-pricing scam in there. A message to these crooks: STOP HOARDING and drop your prices so that more people can enjoy craft beer! Oldsmar Beer place sells all the same beers for $1.98-$2.89 a bottle, NOT $10, and they will rush-order just about anything you want.

For pure selection, this place canít be topped. Think of it like a small warehouse with an almost endless and overwhelming selection of bottles to choose from.
First time I was there, I didnít even know where to begin, and it probably took me 30 minutes just to fill out a 6 pack!

EDIT: The place was completely renovated and the drive thru section was removed. The same beer is available, but itís very cramped. I donít know if this is better. I used to like rooting around in the Yeti Cave. The selection is decent, they keep some things in stock and get some new releases. The belgian section is slowly dwindling. A lot of the beer in that section has been there for years. SO if you are looking for a mid 2000s gueuze, youíll probably find it here. Not a bad place, needs some upkeep. The Beer Cave is always a mess. Prices arenít terrible on most things. Overall a good shop to get some american micros.

Visited on a recent Saturday afternoon. We stopped shopping at this store about a year ago because of the exorbitant prices on some of the beer. But, we decided to give them another chance, and I am glad that we did. As dalepryor mentioned, the door to Yetiís Beer Cave was locked, so we had to traverse through the drive-thru to locate an attendant. He asked us to use the employeeís entrance at the back of the beer cave. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of bottles here and many Belgians that we have not seen anywhere else (and these are what we hunt for). Even found a few Rocheforts on the shelf, although not the 10 (which all have become very hard to find in the area). Some of the bottles appeared very dated, but given the temperature at which they store the beer (it is pretty chilly in there) they probably have aged well. We found the prices to be more in-line with the local competition on this trip, so perhaps we will start visiting more frequently again. If you are in Tampa and want to find some great beer, make sure to stop by this place.

i went here the other day before going to dinner with the girlfriends relatives, made an out of the way trip to go check it out. after getting there i felt a little lost, the front door was locked and there is this huge drive thru and no employees in site, so i wondered back and forth a few times wondering how to get into the room with all of the beers. i knocked on a few doors and this guy came out, he seemed a little out there but pointed me in the right direction, as i entered the store i was pretty excited, i had read reviews about this place and the selection. So just as i imagined the place was amazing, so many bottles of everything you could imagine and more, most of them i had never seen or heard of and then the usual selection you see other places, so i walked back and forth and studied what was before me, and i was amazed. I wanted to purchase everything i saw that i had never seen but i was limited so i finally picked up a couple bottles and made my way out. I would love to go back and look some more, this place has so many foreign beers itís crazy. i would say 75% of their stock is imports which is pretty damn impressive. If you live in the tampa bay area and you have not been here or if you live in FL and are looking for a variety that is not likely to be on shelves near you go here it will be well worth the trip.

Incredible selection, but a bit pricey. Must be pushing 1000 varieties of beer. There are brands and style Iíve never heard of here and Iím rather savvy. Micros, crafts, Belgians they must have a heck of a distributor. I didnít even know where to start.

OMG lots of beers. Fresh, cold stouts a plenty. The only thing better than a disgustingly large selection of beer delivered through your car window would be if they opened it for you. And Iím sure they would if you gave them a big enough tip. Wicked good drive through beer and cigar store. Also, the Cigar Castle attached to the building is the only place in Tampa that I have been able to find my favorite cigar for the past 2 years.

This Store is a beer lovers paradise! there are over 800 different kinds of beer. domestics, imports, and micro brews, not to mention a really good selection of mead and wine. the drive thru is just too cool but the store they call yetis cave is where the good stuff is. Fully climate controlled. the first time i walked in there i was in shock. since then this is the only place i will go for imports ande micro brews. there is a great selection of belgian beers including trappist ales that i couldnt find anywhere else. It is a real treat. the service is great too. very knolegable crew. and they even have a cigar shop. how cool is that!!
deffinately check it out
