The service here is fantastic, the guys are very knowledgable of everything beer, prices are what you would find anywhere else, and on a side note they offer free beer samples which they made, near perfect.

Nice home brew shop with everything you need. Located in a strip mall off of Ritchie Highway. It is in the back and cant be seen from the street. It is a little tricky to find but look for the sign that says 836 and pull in and go all the way down and to the right. Store was layed out well and was nicely lit. Service was helpful and friendly. I cant comment about the prices because I have been out of hombrewing for a couple of years and am eager to get back with their help and inventory.

A whole lot of surliness goes along with your purchase. The guys who run this store will wait on a phone customer before they wait on a customer standing right in front of them. They really need to learn some business etiquette and manners.

The McNew’s have a great selection of original homebrew recipes and are very helpful to the novice home brewer. I have brewed four batches with equipment and recipes purchased from here. All were drinkable and the last two were irresistible. Not bad results for our first attempts in basement brewing.
