I stopped in here briefly before starting my evening drinking. Looks like a wine brew store from the outside, inside, plenty of selection to get started. the person I spoke to had very good english and we spoke briefly about brewing and travel. I wish they had more yeast and hop selection if I were local.

Here goes for another unrated homebrew shop. Small little store in the heart of Quebec City. This neighborhood, called Faubourg St-Jean should be renamed "Everything beer" While standing on the curb you will have, within sight, 2 beer bars (including the city’s best IMO), 2 beer stores (including one of the city’s best again), and this homebrew shop. The owner, a woman named Chantal is very kind and helpful. The stuff can be a bit pricey, but she has pretty much everything you could possibly need, including a lot of fancy homebrew stuff you can only usually get in the states. In the region, it’s the only worthy place for hundreds of kilometers.
