| fishingnet (11), Brandon, Florida | | March 26, 2009 This place is awesome. A really cool unfinished look that made me feel like I was at my home watering hole. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Everyone was very knowledgeable and passionate about beer. The Pale Ale, IPA, and Stout were all fantastic. The homebrew store was an added bonus for my uncle who is looking into brewing. The food was some of the best pub food I have ever had and there mustard is the best I have ever had in my life. If you are ever in Kennewick this is a must stop. | | 19Ei8hty (51), Washington | | October 5, 2008 Very cool place. Stopped by for the Fresh Hop Fest on Oct 4th. Nice atmosphere, good food, and people working who knew the right way to fill a growler. Great selection of IPA’s from the heart of Hop Country. Side Note - man it was great driving down I-82 and smelling the hops in the air from the freeway on our way to El Pasco. That picture should be updated place was much nicer than a few lawn chairs and a cheap banner. | | BückDich (215), McCall, Idaho | | May 10, 2005 Right next to "the tracks" in an old farmers market looking building. Brick walls, large interior with several unique rooms. A large "commons" room with plenty of tables and roudy local kids. A "record room" which was covered entirely in vintage records, that creeped me out. A homebrew shop where you could also buy bottled Ice Harbor beers. Upstairs lounge with extra seating and games away from the hussle. The staff was mostly flair with a little knowledge. They summoned the brewer though and he seemed like a nice enough bloke. Lots of beers of tap, some of them decent and unique. Looks like they rotate them often as well, which is a plus for some. | | Oakes (428), Vancouver, British Columbia | | May 9, 2005 Neat space, a big brick building...I think they said it was a granary. Has a cool half-finished look to it. Service was solid, considering it was reasonably busy when we arrived. Brewer came by for a chat. Darts and pool upstairs are upstairs. They have a homebrew store on site as well. Most of the beers were okay, but nothing too flashy. Probably the best atmosphere of any brewpub in SE Washington. |
