I am surprised no one added this place yet. Up in north Osaka you’ll find the Minoh Brewery which has an on-site bar. There you can get pretty much whatever beers they are currently making. If not in the fridge then they’ll grab it from cases in the back but they may have to label it for you! Prices are slightly lower than in shops as you are getting the beer at the source and they have a few taps to enjoy some draft beer with some complimentary peanuts. The atmosphere is great with tons of Minoh Beer gear for sale, books on beer to read and lots of flyers/business cards about beer places all over Japan. The staff was friendly too. It may not be worth a special trip but if you live in Kansai it is definitely worth going to take a look at where Minoh is made. Plus nearby you can go for a walk in the woods and see a waterfall. All in all a good day out. Nearest station: Makiochi station
