This place is great! Itís like looking through a northern brewer or midwest catalog, but it is all there in front of you. Prices are great and the staff are as knowledgeable as it gets. Chatted with the guy running the cash register for a bit about mead, and checked out. I will definitely be coming here again.

The place to go in Cincinnati for your homebrew supplies. Staff is friendly and knows what theyíre doing. I donít brew myself, but you are right next to the taproom.

Nice homebrew shop in the middle of Cincinnati, right across the street from Xavier. There were 3-4 guys working when I visited. Not huge, but a really solid selection. Lots of programs are available for homebrewers of all skill levels. Doesnít hurt that it shares a doorway with Listermann/Triple Digit Brewingís tasting room. This is the go-to place for homebrew supplies in Cincy.

Listermannís is both a brewery and a home brew seupply shop. If you live in the XU area of Cincinnati, this is a great stop for all your home brew supplies. They have a ton of grains, all the literature, and are very knowledgable. Listermannís also brews beers, and the few that I tried were very solid, and Kevin was very available and helpful. Good stop if in the area.

The best homebrew shop in the city, and they make pretty good beer too. If I need anything, this is generally where I go. And Jason is extremely friendly and helpful!

Looked like a solid homebrew shop. Service was knowledgable about the local beer scene which is new to me. I didnít actually buy anything. Theyíve got Listermann brand beers in a small case behind the counter.

My home brewing life started and has been continually nourished at listermanns. His beer is great, and I always look forward to my next stop in.

So Iím relatively new to homebrewing, have done most of my shopping on-line, havenít visited that many brewshops, and the oneís I have been to arenít legends of the hobby...for example I havenít driven up to St. Paul to go to the Northern Brewer store. With those qualifications, I will say that this is the single most impressive homebrew shop Iíve yet seen!
This shop (like all homebrew shops) is in a low-rent part of town. This one is in an old warehouse in the process of remodeling. There is a seating area downstairs...looks like the local homebrew club meets here.
Upstairs is a shop entirely dedicated to homebrewing. A very good selection of yeast and hops (each in their own cooler) and a few beers in a cooler (but selling other peopleís beer obviously isnít their focus). The really bright spots here are equipment (theyíve got quite a bit) and grain...they have a very good selection.
Like beer, homebrew supplies are perishable, and this place seemed to get a lot of traffic...makes you feel good about buying stuff from here.
I chatted with the sales staff...the owner gave me a card and offered to order stuff for me. I emailed him yesterday to see what kind of deal I could get on bulk extract, but I havenít heard back yet.
A very cool place - I am impressed.
