64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20
Visited on a Friday on the way up to the Mountains. Liquor store is attached to the Safeway, on your left about 1/2 mile after taking exit 241A for Idaho Springs. The Safeway is a decent stop on the way to the mountains, decently stocked and decent prices (relative to Mountains, higher than Denver). In terms of the Liquor store, the selection is pretty weak - though it does feature some Colorado micros - I picked up a six of Eddyline River Runners Pale Ale, for example. I found the selection in mountain towns to be better, though prices are a bit better here in Idaho Springs.
64 = ★★ (Just ok)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
