One of a tiny handful of mead-makers in Australia. This touristy shop/cafe is on the outskirts of Mudgee, four hours north-west of Sydney. The focus is on all things honey and at time of visiting there were four honey-based meads/drinks available to sample and buy - standard mead, spiced mead, spiced liqueur and sparkling alcohol-free honey drink. The place is unsophisticated and crammed with honeys and tourist tat. The clientèle seem to consist of bus tours and families. I didn’t think much of the meads, all priced at $20 for 750mls, but the fact they exist is worth recording.
