76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 Marko (188) Split, Croatia | May 29, 2010 A great web store (their regular store is unfortunaly closed (for) now), lead by one of the... nah, probably THE pioneer and the main driving force of the Croatian craft beer scene! The imported selection varies but it’s usually styles you won’t find elsewhere in Croatia (unless they get it from here). Not too thrilling for the foreign visitor I guess (though it can be from time to time), but for us in Croatia, essential. Right now, for example, the focus is on Aecht Schlenkerla, Sierra Nevada, Broughton and Robinsons. Very quick delivery to your doorstep inside Zagreb at quite acceptable prices (you won’t find most of the beers they have cheaper in Croatia)... from a friend’s experience, ordering outside Zagreb doesn’t work all that well from time to time, which is the only downside. Still, the owner does a great job for the scene, so they’ll always have my support! | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 ogivlado (276) Zagreb, Croatia | June 15, 2007| Updated March 2, 2010 No longer at Rudeška 88, until further notice only on-line shopping. Beer selection has changed. First Croatian beer shop. It’s not easy to find, so if someone wants to, can send me mail to explain. There are 3 taped (Krušovice Černe, Krušovice Imperial and Lobkowich Vevoda) and about 150 bottled beers. Most of them are Belgian, but there also can be found those from less available countries like San Marino, Thailand, Japan, etc. Also, there’s wide range of glassware (mostly Krušovice). |
