Kind of a weird parking set up, best bet is to park behind the store by the Del Taco. Lots of imports from Belgium, including some fairly obscure ones. Some special JW Lees beers, a smattering of special releases from Mikkeller and other Scandinavian breweries. De Molen, too. Pretty decent selection of American micros. Nothing is refridgerated, though.
Stopped in August 30 for a few things. I hadnt been here in about 4 years and either I just didnt remember it right or this place has gotten a LOT better.
I seem to remember the place only having a few of the popular Belgian imports (which is still the case) and a bunch of Stone (also still true). Now they have a wall in the back with a lot of import stuff. I saw a lot of de Molen beers, some Mikkeller, Hanssens 750s (hell yes), 4 or 5 different Fantome bottles, some Australian beers, and a bunch of other stuff. Very impressed, and not just for a store in Riverside. This is now a 10 minute drive from my place so Iíll be more of a regular in the future.

Very serious bottle shop stuffed with harder to find single, large format bottles from California, Belgium, Denmark, even stuff from Iceland. Lots of local breweries Iíve never heard of plus special releases for sale with bottle limits. Still lots of unfridged IPAs. Found knee deep simtra, Cismontane Blackís Nocturne, Deschutes Collage No 1, i.a. A nice little gem. Service friendly and knowledgeable but no harassing me while I oggled over the huge selection.
An alright store with a decent beer selection but not usually anything insanely rare...though it seems that certain things that sell out in San Diego end up staying on the shelves longer here, which makes sense. The mark-up seems excessive at times though, but what ya gonna do. Every time I have a hearing up in Riverside, I usually stop by this place and always end up buying at least a few bottles of something, so I guess thatís a good indication of something good, i suppose.
Good beer wine store in a local riverside neighborhood. Great selection and most available as single bottles. This is the best selection I can find without going all the way to OC. Itís close to Packinghouse brewery too if youíre looking to tie in a visit. They also do online shipping.
La Bodega is known in Riverside as the store which will attempt to get you something if they donít have it as long as it is available. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices have been adjusted on a lot of items to keep them competitive.
Online order: Placed an order for a few hard to get beers from their easy to navigate website. My order was filled and shipped quickly. Couldnít ask for anything more. Mr. Samir is also very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have.
La Bodega has stepped up their beer selection a HUGE notch. For being pretty much the only beer store in Riverside they have set a fairly high bar. Their beer section is not huge but they pack in a great variety of quality beers. You do not have to wade through a bunch of mediocre selections to find the few gems on the shelf any more. I believe most beer geeks would be happy yo have this store in their back yard.
