Dec 23, 2007 [668-20070923] Cask @ Bag O’ Nails (Bristol, BR). Vinegar malt aroma has an earthy spice background and "cheese on toast with a bit of HP sauce" rounding things off. Clear, amber orange body with quick white bubbles. Candied ham base flavour also has off-peach and earthy meat notes. Medium body. This certainly does ring a few bells.

Dec 14, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy golden beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with a fine grassy note. The flavor is sweet malty wtih notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Oct 3, 2007 Healthy hazy blonde pour crowned by a solid 2cm white foam that mostly lasts. Grainy, grassy nose with fresh cereal flavours. Fruity passion fruits (kiwi notably) undertones grow underneath. Good, honest medium body. A fun drink that remains simple, but what is there is not encountered in every other cask ale.

Sep 6, 2007 Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, medicine, rancid butter. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Aug 30, 2007 Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized white bubbly head. Aroma is mild honeyish hops, some wooden and leafy hints. Flavour is wooden, slightly yeasty and fruity hoppy.

May 12, 2007 Updated: Dec 1, 2008Cask conditioned at the Star, Bath 11/5/07. Golden coloured beer which left slight lacing on the glass. Unfortunately the beer must have come from the bottom of the barrel as it was rather tired. Aromas were subdued, and the flavour had hints of sour apples with a slightly malty finish. Disappointing.
