Commercial Description:

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has strong notes of spices - cinnamon and cloves, as well as notes of caramel and malt - reminding me more of christmas. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, caramel, bread, and spices - cinnamon and cardemon, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

courtesy of Per - cloudy dark reddish-brown colour with a firm and persistent beige foam; fairly earthy malty aroma with notes of caramel and pineapple; full-bodied and with a robust carbonation; a solid bitterness lasting in a long malty and earthy finish - power and quality

Draught for Wicked Wine@SBWF 2009
Dark brown color, big creamy beige head, lace. Some ryebread and chocolate in the nose. Sweet caramelly flavor, some licorice, ryebread and then hoppy bitterness in the finish. Licorice in the aftertaste. Nice to see that Sigtuna’s quality is improved a lot.
