Appealing hoppy aroma; some citrus, but more resin. The hops bring both pine and (mild) tangerine to the flavour, as well as a fairly sharp bitterness from start to finish. Malt backbone is pretty much straight ahead caramel. Maybe doesn’t sound like much, but it all comes together nicely. presario (3031), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Enticing woody and citrus hop scent. Very woody flavour with some spuce almost eucalyptus and medicinal. Tasty with just a hint of mint toothpaste. Can I get a dry hopped keg for my next birthday? Thanks Sammy. jimmay (252), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2009 On tap at C’est What. Taps a dark reddish copper with a large khaki head. The aroma is straight up citrusy hops, mild caramalt. Flavour was a bit of a mixed bag, same nice malt character met with indistinct malts. Body was medium and bit my tongue more than I was expecting. Citrusy hop character had a sour tinge to it. Reminded me somehow of a candy-apple. One pint was enough for me. Pretty decent, I’m not sure why exactly but this one just didn’t do it for me. robinvboyer (1469), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
