Super rich vanilla aroma and flavor, an almost buttery (texture, not diacetyl) mouthfeel. The beer equivalent of a grand cru white burgundy. jbye4334 (790), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

The aroma has firm notes of sweet apricots, cherries, sweet yet grainy hops and some spicy hops to go along with plenty of boozy heat at the end of the draw. 1 and 2 have a very similar aroma. The taste is sweet with caramel goodness mixing with ripe cherry, ripe plum and prune like dark fruitiness. Yum. It stays sweet and dark and fruity right into the finish. Pretty darn smooth with plenty of smooth dark fruity flavors. dnstone (320), Mons, Belgium
