Learninbeer (1132) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - MAR 30, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2024 The aroma is hops, citrus and pine. Pours a hay orange copper with white head mostly diminishing and very good lacing. The taste is bitter, then a slight sweetness. The body is medium full, the texture creamy and the carbonation mild. Very nice, tastes of fruit, then some bitter (dankness) and an easy finish.

tmoreau (9893) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2024
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2024 On tap at The Beer Cellar-Glen Ellyn, IL. as a 9 oz. serving to a snifter, showing a clear & bright, deep golden hue, with a fluffy layer of soft white froth, and spray-like cling to the lacing. The nose was some dankness with smooth resin, a decent malt intro, expressive citrus, and dried fruit as pit variety. Medium+ bodied, the taste was similar notes, with lively carbonation, appropriate alcohol content, and a bold citrus, rind, & resin bitterness that lingered on the tongue. Highly balanced with DIPA hutzpah.

Frank (4561) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 26, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2023 Smells really nice with a sweet orange citrus element. Kinda heavy and flabby but at least it's pretty bitter so not just a bunch of slop.

4.2
Arbitrage411 (343) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 8, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2023 Catapulting upward, a dense off white head above a hazy gold. Thick lacing on shaker, remains. Moderate hop nose. Stronger, to the point west coast bitter is, as anticipated. Moderate, the residual hop resins on the palate. A quick to arrive carbonated release as is the soothing warmth of 7.5% - on time. Mouthfeel feels medium and dovetails evenly with the robust hop ingredients. Dry finish. First rated August 7, 2023

ronaldtheriot (2692) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUN 4, 2022
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2022 Head Hunter has a thick, ivory head and a bubbly, gold appearance, with moderate lacing. The aroma is of white bread crust. The flavor is of intensely-bitter hop resins and sweet, white bread crust. Head Hunter has a high-medium body and a drying finish. RJT

can8ianben (2136) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2022
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2022 Straight up west coast! I remember a time when this would have been my favorite beer. Big, overly hopped, loads of grapefruit and pine. It’s pretty good, but nothing too exceptional for the landscape these days.
