(3/2/08) Bottle sample at Zythos Bier Festival 2008 in Sint Niklaas. Slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma of fruits, some hops and a bit of malt and yeast. Sweetish fruity flavor with a rather dry finish. Medium-bodied. Quite pleasant.

Bottle at St Neots Beer Festival ’10, courtesy of the good people from alesbymail.com who offer to send you cases of Belgian and British beer together with sausages. Check out their website. This particular beer was gold with a small white head. Aroma was sweet and spicy. Taste was sweet and malty with a mid bitter finish. This was predictable, but none the worse for that.

Buona ale belga con sentori vagamente dupontiani, l’ideale in un aperitivo con farinata (buona! anche se da Sa Pesta è meglio) all’enoteca Il Banco di Novi Ligure!

Bottle from Alesbymail.com. Light golden pour with a stable white head. Aromas of limes, ginger, herbs, lemon zest, quite floral. Flavours of citrus, herbs, very hoppy. Mouthfeel is laden with hops. Bitter, hoppy finish. Not bad.

Bottle [750ml] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a hazy golden-orange with lots of tiny black floaties and an average size frothy white head. Aroma of malt, spices and light hops -- sweet and floral too. Flavour’s a bit watery, yeasty, spicy, sweet and floral -- not bad. Medium bodied. Just O.K.

Taster at Bieres et Saveurs Chambly 09. The color is a hazy honey with a thin off white head. The taste is malty andand some fruits with a bitter finish. The aroma is spicy and also of old vegies. Good Belgium but far from the best.
