The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Poured from 330mL bottle [bb 08/2017]. Clear golden yellow with white head. Sweet yeasty aroma and taste. Not much more than that.

Just opened up a April 2013 bottle last night, and I must say it was pretty damn delicious. Poured smoothly with a nice thick head, but with light aromas of spices & yeast. Very strong yeasty, citrus-like taste to it, but overall I definitely recommend this beer.

Pours hazy gold with big white head. Big aromas, almost like cheddar, spicy, slight hoppy citrus bit. Smooth palate, smooth high carbonation. Sweet to start, then finishes drier with clean hoppiness.

On tap. Light golden color, clear, fluffy white head. Aroma mild pale malts with belgian yeast and noticeable alcohol. Taste is sweetish with a fair hops bitterness, medium body, average carbonation. Seems a concentrated oktoberfest bier, qute malty, slightly biting and alcoholic. Didn’t impress, but solid belgian ale.

Uma das melhores cervejas que já tomei. Um excelente entre o ácido e o malte, espuma duradoura e um sabor frutado que persiste

It pours pale with a white smooth consistent and stable head, also has an excelent taste and sweet aroma. In fact, when you pour it you feel like for drink it at once!

Lichte kleur voor een strong ale. Lichte grote verfijnde schuimkraag. Redelijke fruitige aroma’s. Smaak: veel carbonatie weinig bitter licht fruitig. Drinkt heel erg makkelijk weg voor een biertje van 8,5 % alc. Zou het omschrijven als een champagne pils.

Pours a clear pale golden color, topped with a frothy white head. Fruity aroma, quite heavy yeasty notes (not that nice) and bready as well. Taste has some sweetness, a bit too much yeasty notes and alcohol as well. Some ok bitterness in the end, with malty aftertaste. Not what I like.

bottle at home (bottle has been sitting in the cellar for at least a year). golden, clear and shiny color, lots of carbonation, big head with fine texture, disappears quickly though. some fruity smell, cherries, fizzy, smells a bit sour, yeasty, some dried fruits and honey. fully body, bubbly, good acidity, tastes sweet, cherries, some honey, light hop bitterness, light bitter / sour finish, alcohol rather well hidden.
