Clear amber. Malty nose for a lager. But upon taste the hops win the battle. Teutonic in style. I would imagine an Oktoberfest from Colonge tasting like this.

Smells strongly of yeast, very doughy, slightly hoppy. Pours a very light copper, almost straw color, slightly cloudy. Taste is very malty, well balanced. A tasty lager.

Bottle. This is a good pizza beer. Not a big fan of it but it’s not too bad. Very malty taste, little hops.

Clear yellow. Grassy aroma. Thick, syrupy body with a grassy taste that is too much.

very rich, golden lager, very hoppy with a nice finish, a bit haevy for a lager, but very good

An average lager, light and a bit bitter. Not especially impressive. May appease the macrobrew drinker.

The Portsmouth Lager pours a dark yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is a light flowery hop. Initial taste is moderately bitter with a mild finish. Watery and light on the mouth with lively carbonation. Good lager.
