Bottle [750ml] shared with the gang at ’WaterlooWeekend Oct.’09’ -- c/o J&K. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aroma is sweet along with grassy hops, some grain and bready malt. Flavour of grassy hops, slightly floral, with bready malt and a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Very good Pilsener and on style.

Feb 12, 2010 A: Pours a very pale yellow hue. Head is rather light with no lace noted.
S: Light biscuit malt, wet hay, and light herbal hops in the aroma.
T: Light malty sweetness. Hints of corn, honey, toast, and herbal hops.
M: On the lighter side. Fairly smooth and crisp.
D: Pretty good. Not one of my favorite styles, but this one is pretty tasty.

Feb 1, 2010 Nose has malt, yeast, citrus and pear(reminds me of a trippel.) Hazy yellow, tiny white head. Fine malt flavour, yeast, citrus and pear(again.)
Medium bodied, very well balanced, nice tongue tingle. Great! Thanks Mabel and Jerc.

hazy pour of yellow with a small white head.
there’s something in the aroma that oddly smells like stale urine... once i get past that there are notes of grass, herbs, green apples, grain and peppery spice.
the flavor is quite pils-y... weird mix of the aroma with a touch of malty sweetness and some vegetal notes. a dry peppery finish with a mineral-y aftertaste make it very drinkable even though the body is a bit fuller than expected (or that i like in the style). 7/4/7/3/15/3.6

Jan 21, 2010 Bottle generously shared by ajm -- many thanks! Pours straw in color with a fair white head. Does everything a pilsener should. Smells and tastes of grass, faint citrus, and mineral water. Reminds me of Germany. Nice job, 3F -- especially on the label!

Jan 1, 2010 22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear light golden color with a small white head. The aroma is pretty mild, mainly grainy pale malt and light fruits. The flavor is grainy malt, light fruit, perhaps some earthy hop notes. This is from FFF right? I remember having trouble deciding what type of beer we were drinking. There wasn’t anything off with this, just nothing really going on. This would have to be listed as a disappointment.

Dec 28, 2009 Bottle from the brewery. I wish this had been fresher because this is very well made. Nose of spent grain, grass, lemon peel. Color was a hazy yellow gold. Flavor was clean, grassy, almost Saaz-like with a mineral, refreshing finish. Really my cup of tea. I hope Jinx Proof stays in business so this gets made again.
