poured a dark orange with thin layer of head that dissippated fairly quick, hoppy aroma, bittery hop taste is apparent at first but then disappears and develops into more of a sweet-malty character. felt a little bit of the alcohol as it went down. a very balanced beer nonetheless.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Clear amber in colour with a slick of off-white head and slight carbonation. Sweet, peach and apricot fruit aroma with citrus and pine hops and creamy caramel. Flavour of sweet malts, orange marmalade. Lots more pine and citrus hops, leading to a dry finish with accompanying warming alcohol. Excellent.

355ml Bottle via trade with Lithy. Clear copper amber colour, frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet toasted malts, caramel, spicy and grassy hops, alcohol, light roasted note. Flavour is sweet, sugary, malty, grass and pine, caramel, alcohol, strong lingering hoppy and alcohol bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied, syrupy mouthfeel. A bit too sweet imo. Thanks Justin!

Bottle.Pours an amber dull color with a white head that coats the edge of the glass.Nose is a resiny/bready aroma with a bit of citrus.Taste is full mouthfeel with thick hops and malt with a nice finish.A bit too thick and unbalanced to be considered with the best but a nice IPA/Double IPA for quaffing...

On tap at the Saucer in San Antonio. Pours a dark amber body, topped by a very sticky ivory head that left tons of lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus (orange), light toffee sweetness. Flavor is malty, medium toffee/caramel sweetness, Piney bitter and some alcohol. Medium mouthfeel with active carbonation. Medium pine/resin bitter finish. Very balanced all in all.

Technically a Double IPA, but no doubt one of the best IPA’s around. Fruity hops are prominent, but surprisingly well balanced with malts as well. Excellent beer choice of a slightly higher price range!

Great freaking beer. Not as amazing in my opinion as some other IPA^2, but damn good nonetheless. Excellent malt presence both on tap and in a bottle. There’s an wonderful creamy sweetness that really balances well the hops. Speaking of hops, that’s where I’m kind of disappointed in this beer. It’s not that they get it wrong, but was hoping for some more piney, resinous, stick to your palate hops. Oh well, that’s a stupid criticism anyways. This beer is damn good.

Excellent nose of bubblegum and citrus. Pours medium copper. Flavour is fresh, fruity, bitter and citric with some banana, some cloves, and some pleasing alcohol. A great IPA.
