Nice caramel, slightly nutty aroma. Nice nutty flavor and a good example of a light brown ale. Definitely a lot better than when I first tried it about a year ago, when it was first coming out.

Pours a beautiful red-tinged mahogany clear enough to read through. Minimal head fades quickly. Roasty, toasted pinenut aroma, also crusty bread, subtle cocoa bean (not chocolate), a touch of fruity sweetness. Flavor is mild yet succulent, sweetish, toasty, suggestions of tropical fruit or berry, ending on a citrus note. Barely bitter. Clean finish with a weak coffee aftertaste and a not unpleasant suggestion of brine or seaweed. Unexpectedly filling for being light on the palate. More in the UK than than American style, a definite session beer.

Pours a coppery nut brown with a large foamy tan head that dwindles away lazily as you drink and provides some fair lacing. Sweet hoppy caramel malt aroma. Creamy malty caramel malt flavor that finishes hoppy and dry. Medium-bodied palate.

Great dark brown color, inviting color with a small head. Tastes of carmel, nuts, and a hint of malts and hops. More complex than I expected from my initial aroma test. Aftertaste is kind of malty and sweet. Good beer, great brown ale.

Pours an enticing clear copper shade, with a thin head and good lacing. Very sweet, delicious aroma. At first taste, the ale is quite sweet, with a good malty flavor and hardly any hint of bitterness. It was quite flavorful for the first few swallows, but the flavor seemed to diminish significantly as the glass emptied. Very good overall, and an excellent change of pace.

Mellow Mushroom - Atlanta, GA Draft Delicious nutty brown nicely hopped with well balanced caramel sweet aftertaste. Deep brown, clear, no head. Watery muthfeel. Newcastle with hops.

Thanks to Badgerben for sharing. Pours a nice burntish honey brown. Nice toffee like nose with hints of roasted malt. Nice toffee and almost raisen like malt sweetness. Not a terrible beer, but not amazing.

Pours a opaque brown color, with slight head. Hints of chocolate caramel, and fruit. A lot of flavor for a light bodied brew. Finishes thin.
