Deep red copper with a lasting off-white head. Aroma has biscuit and caramel malt notes, as well as citrus and grassy hops, and a vineous alcohol note. Sweet and rich biscuit malt flavour with lots of hops flavour and a strong and lasting bitter finish. Drinkable now, and felt like a beer with cellaring potential (if it wasn’t draught only)

On tap. Pours a hazy deep amber golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of hops but also a somewhat chemical and synthetic edge. Full-bodied, caramel but again chemicals and chlorine and phenols. Lightly bitter finish. Not very good at all. 300609

Draught @ Brewpub. Large creamy white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear amber color. Aroma of floral, fruit, grape, citrus, alcohol, caramel, mild toasted malt. Medium to full bodied with an average carboantion and dry light alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor. Lingering warming fruity finish.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy amber color. The aroma shows some fruity American hop initially, later some sweet and mellow caramel. Medium body (I expect more at this gravity), maybe limited by a quite strong alcohol presence; caramel flavor, strong; strong bitterness too; too much vegetables touch in the end, and too much harsh bitterness (like burnt). Controversial.
