Commercial Description:
Labatt Select is brewed to be light, and has a unique taste with only 99 calories per bottle and 4.2% alcohol by volume. Fermented longer at lower temperatures to give a smooth, clean taste, Select uses unique North American aromatic hops that impart a delicate flavour and aroma. Lightly roasted specialty malt contributes to the overall body and balance of this unique product, providing a delicate hop aroma and flavour that is complemented by a soft finish.

I tell you what..........if I had to "select" a low carb, or low alcohol lager, this would be the one. That said, I don’t anticipate having to "select" one to drink any time soon. So, ultimately, I won’t be "selecting" this one any time soon. ALmost too poor to rate. Pale, fizzy, cardboard, corn in all areas. Rough.

why do they put this in the mixer pack, actually it wasn’t too bad although I wouldn’t drink too many of them, could’ve tasted worse.

Smelled this one as soon as Iopened the can. Very light toasted malt, sweet adjuncts, lemon. Body is straw yellow, fluffy head. Appears highly carbonated. Has some toasted malt, fruitiness, corn. Not much more flavorful than tonic but not as offensive as Michelob Ultra. No body at all - this stuff is lighter than water.

The aroma was week, but had hint of metallic smell to it...Which is odd since it came from a bottle. The apperance was light yellow, the head was thin white and faded quick. Flavor was thin. Pretty poor over all. If I hadn’t read the label I would have thought this was just another thin American Marco light beer. Oh, well.
