Borup (24780) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JAN 19, 2024
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2024 Bottle. A hazy golden coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of spices, malt, yeast, fruit and with a sweet finish.

kapusil (2519) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 12, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2023 0.33l bottle thanks to Lore. Slightly hazy golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of bready malts, sugar syrup, orange zest, apricot, pears and a tiny bit of floral hops. Pretty much how I envision a Belgian Tripel, really good example of the style. I like it.

Lore (6815) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 29, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2023 gift from my Belgian neighbours - thanks, so much, Benjamin!slightly opalescent golden colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma and taste of dried apricot, grainy, some (canned) apple bread crusty, some alcoholic and slight coconut notes; great one!

TET (6064) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUN 12, 2022
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2022 A golden and quite murky beer, a head is big and white. Aroma has fruiness, pear, light spicyness and flowers. Taste has generic frutiness, nice spicyness. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Nice and balanced.

DraftDodger (7617) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2022
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2022 Copenhagen 20/2 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Blue label with a off-white rhombus with the name of beer, brewery and logo. Pours slightly unclear yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a yeasty scent. Sweet pale malts, caramel and toffee. Musty cellar and citrus. Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry. Sweetish and appropriately boozy Triple.

nihtila (5475) - Dunfermline, SCOTLAND - FEB 20, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2021 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden, white head. Nose is sweet, fruity sweetness, caramel, yeast notes - smells like tripel! Smooth and sweet mouthfeel, faint bitterness, fruity sweet, spicy yeasty, little warming. If not the most complex but solid example of the style I very much like.

SampleLees64 (1) - Kalmthout, BELGIUM - NOV 3, 2020 does not count

Peter_L (2325) - SWEDEN - OCT 24, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2020 Ljust gyllengul vätska med tjock och vitt skum. Örtig, jästig doft med en lätt brödig bakgrund. Torr och väldig besk i smaken. Möter örtigheten på ett bra sätt.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 Fles 33cl thuis. Zoet, Belgisch gist, maltig, fruitig, yeasty, geel fruit, licht fizzy, licht droog, boozy. (2-10-2020).

SilkTork (7745) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2020 Jan 2008. 330ml bottle from Bier Tempel, Brussels. A strong pale ale well brewed to dryness yet with a fruity sweetness - high alcohol yeast produces attractive spiciness. Alcohol is noticed. Finish is slightly blurred. This is a standard Belgium strong pale ale / Tripel with the faults and joys of that. It doesn’t stand out as special, nor does it seem any worse than average. [3.0]
