Commercial Description:
Special in the range. A raspberry beer, but with addition of three other fruit extracts. A sweet-sour taste makes it unique. People say its a better kriek and it's very popular with beer lovers.

The aroma is slightly sour combined with sweet notes, fruit and cherries (more than strawberries). The color is an unclear light brown and it has a small lazing beige head. The flavor is very sweet berries combined with dry wood and metal. The flavor is a little too sweet - but besides that, this is a really good beer.

11th August 2008. Brown cloudy beer with an aroma of cherry cough medicine! The palate is fruity but again dominated by cherry. Afrothy creamy mid leads to a bone dry finish. There are other fruits and lemon juice in this beer which may account for the acid dryness. A little too many artificial flavours.

Bottle from 2be in Bruges. Pours very dark, but clear, brown with a very slight head. Sweet berry aroma. Seems more cherry than raspberry. Near medium body with medium carbonation. Flavor is rather sweet, and somewhat syrupy. Definitely red berries. Reminds more of a sugary soft drink than beer. Another good beer, maybe, for the companion who does not appreciate bitterness.

Bottle at home. Aroma and flavor of raspberries, strawberries and cherries. God balance between sweet and sour. CBF, Valby. Hazy reddish. Aroma moderate malty (raspberries). Flavor moderate sweet and acidic. Light body. Added a small raspberry liquor, which didn’t do it better. 4-2-4-2-8/2 2009.05.29

Zythos 2009. Too much hate for this beer for its only flaw is its overly perfumy nose. Aroma of all red fruits, very perfumed nose. Flavors dominated by sweet but not as bad as other fruitbeers.

Bottle, Red Zebra, Derby. Oh dear, this is a truly disgusting excuse for a beer. Like an alcoholic raspberry sunny delight. Grossly artificial sickly sweet aroma and flavour. Get down the drain and never darken my door again !

Bottle. Very fruity aroma like a red raspberry softdrink. Redbrown colour with beige head. Very, very sweet flavour. Slight bitterness in the end. Too much of a soft drink.
