On draft in a plastic cup. Pours murky, bright orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, spices, and sweet malts. The wheat is the main flavor here. Pretty refreshing, but there are much better beers.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2010 Light, white head, strong carbonation. Strong lemon aroma, crisp. Finish lingers, can taste spices as well.

My favourite bavarian hefe-weizen! It’s a great summer beer! Full of banana, wheat and bready yeast. Very flavorfull and refreshing... A classic!

Bottle. Poured anamber color with a medium head. Aroma of yeast and bananas. Bananas, wheat and light yeast taste. Too light/thin, but certainly a very drinkable beer. 5.0% alcohol.

Bottle: Pours a medium golden with a nice fluffy head in the weizen. I’m immediately reminded of everything I love about the weihenstephaner variation. That combation of yeast, clove, spices, banana, on the nose and in the mouth is delicious there, as it is here as well - I find the two extremely similar, but feel like the weihenstephaner balances out just a touch better in comparison. Either way, this is an incredible example of the style in my opinion.

Served in a Erdinger Weizen glass. A: Golden going orange with a big foamy head, lots of visible carbonation. S: Banana, golden apples, yeast (or at least the smell of fermentation) T:Banana, melon, apples (yellow fruits in general), some spice and the fermentation flavor from the yeast. Overall a refreshing beer with lots of fruity flavors kind of watery. I would have it again cause I bought two of them, but there kind of cheap and widely available.
