Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours a very deep reddish brown with a thin off-white head. Nice lacing around the glass. Aroma is of roasted malts, toffee, and dried fruits. Flavour is sweet with underlying fruit. All of those roasted notes are there once again in the flavour - bread, coffee, malt. Definitely will try this one again.

I’m very glad I went out formidably on adventures lost, to withhold a preordain blockader from the moss; says I with this dilapidated birthday esteem of mine, I’ll drink you, of thine own. COMMENTS: Its pourings is darkened auburn fanaticism, rugged purplish-red-black, and the head spouts outward, foamy and grander than most to behold; a good-looking beer, if you shall ask! Its smell... oh! How can anyone dismiss its smell? Lots of roasted wheat and German wheat -yeast flairs. Funky, but mild and wonderful. It’s taste... talk about love, me boy! I get a helluva lot of a full grain-belt, with slight oatmeal notes and figs. There’s a smoky lingering character left in your mouth just as you swallow. Intense, and yet very adequately nice. I thoroughly enjoyed such a beer, and, hopefully, you will too.

Dark brown robe with an beige head that doesn’t last. Great smells of roasted malt and toffey. Great bitterness. Caramel and malt taste completed by some toffey and spices touches. A great double bock.

I’ve never been a big fan of German beers in general, and I usually find Doppelbocks too sweet and lacking in complexity. However, this example is an exception to what I’ve tasted so far! The aroma was malty with toffee scents. It poured a deep dark brown with a light head out of the bottle. Flavors of carmel and coffee were apparent, but not overpowering. The most impressive thing about this beer to me was how well blended the flavors were. Not one and then another but all as once like a symphony in my mouth. It also had a nice crisp finish. This was one of the best features as many doppelbocks leave too much sweet aftertaste because they finish syrupy. On a cold winter night like the one I had last night I would definitely crack one or two of these open again!

Bottle. I remember loving this beer 5 years ago when I first tried it. Dark brown pour with some lighter brown head. Aroma is oatmeal, vanilla, smoked malt. Flavor is a nicely rich blend of sweet caramel, chocolate, and smoke. I still love it.
