Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

30cl on tap at restaurant. Pours a semi-translucent dark amber color with minimal head. Aroma is well balanced between spices, malt, and hops in that order. Taste is very spicy but like the aroma is well balanced with nothing too overpowering. Body is full and is active while on the palate- you can feel the carbonation. Really nice complex beer, good to combine with food.

Dopplebocks in general are not my fav, way too sweet for my taste, but I knew that this was good when I first tasted it. I kind of consider this to be more of a desert beer, i can have only one at a time, great malty sweetness but not overbearing, toasted hazlenut flavor and goes down so smooth.

The beer pours a deep dark red with a foamy tan head. The nose is inviting with bits of roasted caramel and burnt toast? . I love the flavour complex and it changes as the beer warms. At first the roasted flavour dominates, then it moves to carmel sweet maltiness with hints of spices and dark fruits. Nice touch of bitterness on the finish.

One of those beers that I enjoy but don’t quite understand people losing their head over. It’s a very good Doppelbock that tastes fuller and richer than its abv might indicate. It’s a transparent ruby brown beer with good lacing. Aroma is brown sugar, toasted bread, raisins and malt. Flavor kicks in some nice bitter notes, so the malt doesn’t run away with it. Relatively thick on the palate. A world classic but not one of my all-time favorites.

dense, dark brown pour with a reddish tint and large, fizzy tan head. Malty, roasty, alcoholic (but not offputtingly so) aroma. Malty flavor with brown sugar and, seemingly, rye bread.

Aroma of sweet cherries and malt possibly some other sugars in there too. There was little head to mine which may be the way that I poured the bottle into the glass but left a light foam on top and the color of the head/remnant foam was an amber color. Color of the beer was a dark amber or red but definitely on the darker side then the picture assumes. It had a sweet and bitter cherry taste slightly with a mix of chocolate (probably Munich malt coming through) and was light on the palate and a little dry but not to bad. Overall, it is one of the best bottles I’ve had and on tap it was equally if not more impressive. Enjoy sparingly like a nice treat that you don’t want to ruin though.

A clear dark red/brown colored beer, with a dark beige head. The aroma of fruits like cherrie and malts. A little rusty (The bottle was 2 years out of date). The taste of fruit, like chierries, caramel and dry. The aftertaste is bitter and dry. Not bad at all, but I’ll hope to get a fresh bottle.
