This Innis & Gunn beer has been matured in rare 18 year old single malt Scotch Whisky barrels to create a complex beer with a classic Highland character. Made exclusively for the Swedish market.

Bottle: : Clear red colour, thin white head. Aroma of coffee,vanilla,wood and a sweet caramelly. Som hints of citrus,bitter nose in the end. Flavor had a darkchoclatemixed with coffee beens mouth feeling. Surpicingly thin body, suguar and vannila dominated the medium finish.

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with a small off white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, fruits and butter. Sweet flavour of caramel, butter, butterscotsch and whisky. Sweet finish of whisky.

Clear amber with a tiny off white head. Aroma had diacetyl, toasted malt, caramel and wood. Flavour had whiskey, toasted malt, caramel, wood and mild hops. Finished sweet.

33 cL clear bottle, courtesy of joergen. Pours clear and golden orange with a small, creamy and lasting head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramelish, wooden and butterish. Sweet malty, vague wooden. Subdued vanilla note. Medium dry and roasted caramelish finish.

Beautiful amber color. Not much of a head. Malty sweet aroma with hints of caramel and lemon. Slightly sweet hoppy aftertaste.

Second bottle (last) from the special swedish release, scotish tasting 2010-02-06, Göteborg, bottle (green box). First rating 4,3 new rating 3,8 average: 4,05 Older rating below! Flaska 10 grader D: helt underbar smörkola, som av kamraterna sa vid provning så doftade som när mormor kokade knäck. UTS: lite finare grån etikett en stdölen S: bra, jag var inte så nyanserad efter IPA provningen (9stycken) + en odue gouzue

Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty toffee vanilla aroma. Sweetish malty vanilla flavor with some hints of wood. Has a sweetish malty vanilla and toffee finish.

Bottle, 33cl - Clear amber beer with almost no head. Aroma is malty with notes of butter scotch, vanilla, lemon and some hops. Flavor is malty with notes of butter scotch, vanilla and caramel. Again nothing special from this brewery.

Bottle at Borefts 10am day after hotel tasting after a very bad drunk Borefts festival ... copper ... horrible undescribable nose ... over sweet vanilla ... no balance.
