Some malt on the palate, and a lightly lingering finish, but overall, a bit of a disappointment. Have had this in the past and seem to remember enjoying it...but not that much tonight!

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 13, 2010 Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thin foamy white head. Aroma is grains and slightly metallic. Flavor is grainy and slightly sweet with some corn syrup. Quite decent carbonation. Slightly bitter finish. Not too bad for a pilsener. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 23, 2010 12 oz. bottle from Ambar, an Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. I always assumed I’d have it at a Thai restaurant, but the Thai place by me is too expensive so I doubt I’ll eat at one anytime soon. Anyway, this pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma of corn, pale and barley malts, grains, straw, and a little bit of hops. The flavor stays pretty faithful to the nose- corny, grainy, and light. Nothing offensive in this one, which is nice, as some odd things can show up in foreign lagers sometimes. Light bodied, with average to low carbonation and a quick, dry finish. Light and refreshing, and you could do worse. gyllenbock (489), Stockholm, Sweden

Golden with a white head.
Quite sweet malty and grassy aroma. Some grass in the thin and dry flavor. Ok to hot food and as a thirst-quencher in the warm weather. asheft (1644), Marburg, Germany

Unpleasant cardboardy urine aroma. Clear brown-gold with short-lived, white foam. Unpleasant cardboard flavour that is with some detectable rancid hops and balanced on the sweet side. Light body, moderate carbonation, sweet cardboard finish.
