I like this brew! Its cheap easy and easy to drink, taste is subtle, but lovable. Color is a nice rich black and head is thin and carmel colored. Worth trying

Black pour with a thick tan head. The nose is lightly sweet with a fairly pronounced licorice and dark toffee aroma. A bit of brown sugar and toasted malt. Even a little bit of light plumminess. No roast but a bit of sweet, dark maltiness. Pretty rich. It’s a bit sweet but I like it anyway.

Light malt aroma. Dark amber color with a small brown head. Moderately sweet flavor that fades adn gets a very slight amount of bitterness in the finish. Lightly silky palate.

Pours a rich black with a thin mocha head which leaves some rainy streaks. Aroma is anise, light chocolate, and light vanilla. Taste is light chocolate and light vanilla with a smooth mouthfeel. Pretty damn good actually.

Pours a dark brown color with thin offwhite head. Aroma is sweet malt, light bread, chocolate and fruit notes. Not much else going on here and same goes for the taste. I was expecting more roasty and chocolate character. Oh well, it ain’t bad and it’s from Brazil which is cool.

Brown bottle bought in Boston. Bière noire opaque avec un beau nez rôtie, agréable. Bouche soyeuse, rôtie, torréfaction. longue et onctueuse. Belle bière surprenante.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours black opaque with dark brown highlights and small brown head. Taste is sweet malt (light chocolate and some molasses), and a hint of smoke. A little complexity and silky smooth texture. Taste is great, this is a regular for me.
