750 ml bottle. Pours a large, thick head with a tan, pale, and cloudy appearance. The smell is disappointlingly weak but there is a pleasant spicy smell. The taste is very smooth, yeasty, and has hints of clove and orange. FInish is a little too dry. Because it tastes best going down, I will drink this again to complement food or cheese, but probably not drink a bottle standing alone.

12oz. Bottle. Pours a hazy bright gold with fairly minimal head. Nose is all fruit with an underlying hint of spice. A nice curve ball in the mouth, sweet up front but a lingering bitter/sour finish. Surprisingly little alcohol burn for the strength. Overall, dangerously drinkable.

Hazy gold, short-lived white head. Smells of grapes, kumquats, earthy yeast and cloves. Flavours of those plus peaches and more spices. Taste is mildly sweet and quite spicy. Quite carbonated mouthfeel, but very soft and tiny bubbles. A deceptively light and gracious brew.

12oz bottle
Appearance: Hazy yellow/golden with a nice fluffy white head, some lacing. Tons of bubbles coming up from the bottom, it looks like champagne.
Aroma: Sweet, yeasty, citrus and earthy
Taste: Yeast and malts, citrus and bready
Very refreshing beer. Crisp and clean, well balanced. I can’t taste any alcohol, be careful with this one.

Pours a beautiful, cascading blonde color with a fluffy white rimmed head. Taste is of crisp grapes, spice, yeast and medium carbonation. Highly enjoyable.

Sweet fruity nose. Amber with descent head. A sweet, candy sugar, malt flavor...still a bit light.

Hazy yellow color, small white head; sweet and very fruity aroma with notes of yeast and spices; medium body, oily palate with moderate carbonation; heavy sweet, somewhat sugary flavor with again lots of fruits, yeast and spices. I actually wouldn’t judge the waiter if this was to be served to me as a weizenbock - a very good one, that is - as I didn’t detect a faintest amount of hops. Which is pity because I feel this still needs something to balance it’s sweetness to be truly awesome.

12 ounce bottle drink by Sept ’12. Pouring into a La Fin du Monde tulip glass produced a commanding head. Crackling fizz. Aroma and first half of the taste are very fruity in a citrus/peach/apricot sort of way...witbier like. A touch sweet, but with some finishing coriander and clove spice. Some salty/spicy hops (Saaz or Styrian Goldings). As it warms, the yeast takes center stage and becomes too much, IMO. The ideal tripel might lie somewhere in between. Some gut warming alcohol too.

Poured an almost opaque brownish gold with a eggshell white head (the head goes away fairly fast leaving a thin layer behind). The aroma was curious... can not really put my finger on it.... sour fruit, clove and a hint of alcohol stand out. Taste is: sweets, spices and fruit (grapefruit). Decent body with some depth. Overall a nice beer... but a little too sweet for my taste. Glad I tried it but don’t know if I would buy another.
